2022 Lexus RX 450h Weight and Accelerated Depreciation

HI All,

I'm new to the site but have owned a 2016 Lexus CT200 (recently totaled).  I am looking to have my business purchase a 2022 RX 430h F sport and take advantage of the accelerated depreciation (100%) for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of at least 6000 lbs.  Here's the problem.  All the websites list the GVW at 5997 lbs, but the VIN plate on the car shows 6000 lbs.  I sent a pic of the VIN plate to my CPA and she looked at the KG weight on the plate, did the conversion and said "Nope, it comes out to 5997, not 6000 lbs."  Has anyone here who owns a business taken the full 100% write off on this and had a problem (or not)?  Can't believe Lexus would leave this 3 lbs short knowing what's at stake.

How about the RZ 450e. That should weigh more that the 450h, given that the RZ has a larger battery pack (I would think).

Thank you Dave.  It's a little too crossover-ish for what we're needing but I appreciiate the thought.  Didn't even know about this car.
