Best distance headlights

Would like to know which are the best headlights to use for my 93 GS 300 that will give me optimal distance lighting for high beam and good road lighting for low beam. 
 

I was considering using hella 100w clear for my high beams but was told the wattage might overheat my oem wiring harness and the bulb may produce too much heat for the lens. Has anybody used them and is there any truth to this. What would I need to upgrade my harness with if I need to?

This is the high beam light bulb I want to try. If anybody has tried or compared it to the regular bulb.. what is it like. Any heat or wiring issues.
