Gas smell

I have a 2002 GS 430 that started to smell gas after turning off the car. It took a while for the check engine to come on. It's  code is P0042. It says small gas leak. The smell is coming from the rear passenger tire area. If anyone knows about this problem please let me know. Thanks

Fuel line most likely. The tank is under the back seat area.

Also make sure your gas cap is not worn or damaged.
