My 92 Lexus has been a very reliable vehicle. Only major problems have been leak in a/c and power steering pump. Replaced one light bulb in dash over temperature gauge and now I see that the turn signal indicators in dash do not light or blink when all the exterior lighting for turn signal is working properly. Any suggestions on source of problem. Also noted that gear shift position in dash for N to D are not lighting. -
Hi guys, My '00 LS400's odo baclight burned out recently. I have heard a lot of people having problems with climate control display and fixing it, but couln't find anything on the odo/mileage counter display. I can see it's working fine, just the backlight won't turn on. Could really use your help here!

Hello! I am a new Lexus owner. I just bought my 1996 ES300 a few weeks ago. It is overall in good condition with 250K on it. It does need some work, though. I would really appreciate some of you fine and educated folks helping me get a grasp on my cars issues and seeing what work I can do myself. I know it needs a speed sensor replaced, which is causing it to run idle at about 1500 RPMS and it has trouble accelerating/ drives a bit rough. It shifts smooth when it realizes it needs too. Today I noticed something new. When I have the lights on(headlights) the internal dash light dims and when I accelerate it stalls. If I have it at a steady pace, it is fine. Once it stalls, she starts up again no problem. I am taking it to a mechanic for a more thorough check on thursday but I worry about driving it to work and back with it acting up. It also needs to have the gasket seal replaced around the engine block. Right in that seal where the engine cover connects to the rest of the engines body. It is a very small leak out of this area and doesnt affect the oil levels. Mechanic quoted me about 200-300 to fix. Could you please help me diagnose my issue? Thank you! Hi all, new to forum. Just purchased a 2011 CPO ES 350 with all the trimmings. I wanted to see if anyone has swapped stock DRL with and LED bulb and if so, provide feedback and specs. Appreciate any replies.

I own a '02 ES300 but think the least attractive part of the car is the grille. Does anyone know if any parts from later model years ('04-'06) will fit my car? I also like the newer tail lights and head light assemblies as well. What fits what, and what mods need to be done? Would also like to know if I can swap out my 16" wheels for a more attractive set of Toyota/Lexus 17" or 18" wheels. Is the backspacing the same on certain models? I'd like to hear what you know and even see pics of mods and upgrades that you have done. Tons of questions and the possibilities seem endless. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new on this forum and thought I'd start out with my latest project. I changed nearly all my OEM Halogen lights to LED's. I think it looks so much cleaner and am happy with the results. Might not be for everyone, but if anyone is interested I can supply some more info.

Hi all. I'm new to this forum and thought I'd start with a request. After a lot of extensive research and hunting on the internet, I've come up with close to nothing of value. I am interested in adding clear side markers to my 2002 SC430 that will fit in the stock bumper. I found a site that is offering factory OEM Clear for $500-700 pair. Unbelievable! If anyone has any other info for these, I would appreciate the advice. If not, if anyone can direct me to a salvage yard or anywhere else that has the OEM side markers, I've found a DIY thread that would allow me to modify them to have a clear diffuser. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. I am new to car maintenance and when I bought this car, I noticed that both the fog lights were out. I'm guessing the problem would be either the fuse or the bulbs. If it was the bulbs, how much work is expected to be put in to change both of them? What bulbs would you guys recommend? What type of fuse does the 1995 SC400 use? Does anyone know what lights are on (parking or running) and what triggers the headlights to come on when the lights are in the "auto" position on a 1997 Lexus ES300? My daughter got in an accident where the other driver said she didn't see my daughter coming and pulled in front of her totaling our Lexus. It was 9:20pm in Boise, Idaho on May 5, 2012. I've checked the sunset and twilight times. Sunset was at 8:51pm and Twilight was 9:23pm. A couple of witnesses said that it was pure dark and my daughter did not have her lights on. The officer said he found the lights in the "auto" position. I had my Lexus serviced at a Lexus authorized dealer in February where on their checklist they check all of the lights. The other drivers insurance is saying that it was 35 percent my daughters fault because of the lights not being on. If anyone could help, I would be grateful.

Hi there! Not to sound foolish but my low beam light went out on my 2004 ES330. I bought the Sylvania H7 replacement. I have disconnected the wire plug and can't get the light out to save my life!!! Does anyone know step by step how to get the old bulb out??? Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.
