  1. '02 ES300 - My car's VSC and TRAC OFF lights came on when my bank 1, sensor 1 failed. I had the sensor replaced, cleared the codes and drove it for about 20 miles. The check engine light is off but the other two are not. I even disconnected the battery, cleaned the cables and no change. There are no new codes popping up so I'm a bit confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. What if all I have is the valet key. Is there nothing I can do to program a real deal key with remote?
  3. Very good advice! I have no plans on going overboard or spending big bucks at all. I have a friend in the car biz and can get a few things for pennies on the dollar. Just figured if I could snatch a part or two that I like a little better, I'd go for it. Thanks for the fitment info. Much appreciated.
  4. I own a '02 ES300 but think the least attractive part of the car is the grille. Does anyone know if any parts from later model years ('04-'06) will fit my car? I also like the newer tail lights and head light assemblies as well. What fits what, and what mods need to be done? Would also like to know if I can swap out my 16" wheels for a more attractive set of Toyota/Lexus 17" or 18" wheels. Is the backspacing the same on certain models? I'd like to hear what you know and even see pics of mods and upgrades that you have done. Tons of questions and the possibilities seem endless. Thanks.
  5. Any idea how I find out what my FCC ID is? I think that would be very key in my quest. (no pun intended)
  6. $400! Really?? I called the newest local dealer but was thrown back by the price. $239 for the fob, $150 to program it, plus tax and cut fee. I'm not really impressed with that. Is ther no DIY method of making this happen? Have to admit, I'm a little frustrated.
  7. Thanks. I live very close to Superior Lexus in KCMO. Any idea what I can expect the cost to be? If I could pull it off cheaper, I still wanna try.
  8. I recently bought a '02 ES300 with the valet key only. I see tons of keys on ebay and the such, ranging anywhere from $39 to $139. Is it possible for me to go this option route and program the key myself or does this need to be done by a locksmith or dealer. I don't even know what proper length of key I should be looking for. If anyone can help with any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
