I have a 2010 GS350 with a Mark Levison sound system, the CD player stopped working, it doesn't play and I can't eject any CD's. The Navigation works, but I can't play the radio either, I see the radio going to different stations but no sound. I can connect to Bluetooth but again no sound. However if I plug my phone into the USB I can play music and speakers are working. We have looked at fuses, we have unplugged the battery for about 20 min and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Hi, Can I go to the lexus delearship and request an upgrade to my driver seats, to the 16 ways adjustable seat with thigh extension and side bolster power controls. Else please do anyone know where I can upgrade them? Also if I get one from, let's junkyard will the swap be plug and play or those have different cable plugs? I really wanted those but couldn't find a good car within radar and my price range with that. Thank you for your responses Added a picture of what I want to upgrade to and I have presently.

My wife drives a 2003 ES 300 and needs a disc for her nav system. The old one is shot, and I bought new ones (2 discs - one east, one west US) but now they've failed. Does anyone know where I can get a new one that's reasonably priced? I only paid ten bucks for the replacement discs and am willing to pay more now that I've seen how those performed.

Can I get a Navigation system installed on my 2016 ES 350?
RX400h replied to rmitch3579's topic in 2013 - 2018 ES350 / ES350h
You should be able to order from crutchfield.com and either install it, yourself or have any auto receiver installer install it. See: GPS Navigation at Crutchfield -
I have a 2004 GX 470 with the original Navigation DVD. Other than getting updated maps, are there any other upgrades (new features) with the latest Navigation DVD (part # = PT219GEN23-10). Thank you in advance!

Hello, new to the forum and new to Lexus. However, I am not new to the knowledge of how these cars are extremely reliable and well put together. Mine is pearl white, bone stock, all original (minus things like belts and such), and has just over 198k miles on the clock. Everything works and it runs silky smooth. I have a 2016 Nissan 370Z that I've done over $13k of mods/upgrades to, but I am selling it due to a bunch of old bicycle stunts I used to do as a teenager that have taken their toll on my left leg. Long story. Plus, the way things are going now, having a larger, more practical car is the better way to go honestly. I've only had the Lexus for a couple of weeks and have been loving every minute of it, not to mention it's soooo much better for my leg. Getting in and out of this car is 99.9% pain free. Once I get going with the mods/upgrades on this Lexus, it'll make for much better content than what I'm posting currently. LOL I plan on going on the theme similar to the old 2001 BMW 740i Sport and Mercedes S55 AMG. So yes, it will have some suspension work done to it, slightly lowered, beefed up sway bars, it will have some sporty but classy 18" staggered wheels, possibly era correct. I may upgrade the brake rotors to slotted units, definitely upgrade to Akebono pads, a high quality, quiet true dual exhaust with electronic cut-outs, ceramic tint of legal darkness, and a modest stereo upgrade that will be designed for sound quality and be completely stealth. You know, grown up mods for a grown up car. 😎

I've never updated my map and am going on a trip. Lexus dealer in Tuscon wants $329 for a frozen in time update. Highway robbery!!!! Wondering if it makes more sense to just buy a Garmin as it would constantly be updated. Any suggestions on a Garmin model or is there someone cheaper to go for a software update?

Multi-function Nav started acting erratically. Screen displays variously “check system”, “external system not connected”, "Air Conditioner" "Audio Off" . From what I see on the LS430 forum,. I think my Nav assembly needs R and R. Or maybe an exchange for refurbished. I was told that an exchange unit would have to be "initialized" to my car by a Lexus dealer or somehow requires an "initializer" device. Comment, please. I am anxious to get this working again. 2004 Lexus LS430, Modern Luxury Package incl Mark Levinson Audio/Nav System

ES350 after module replacement has intermittent issues
Lexus2021ES350 posted a topic in General Chat
Our 2021 Lexus 2021 experienced a “pre-collision system malfunction” and our Lexus dealer replaced the “air-bag sensor” module (which we were informed controls many systems). Since then, we have been experiencing intermittent changes on the display screen (for example, display goes from audio to navigation, A/C temperature display changes the temperature) when the car is started (from the previous display when the car was last driven). Our Lexus dealer has run diagnostic tests and can not find any problems with the car. Has anyone experienced this type of intermittent problem, and if so, what did Lexus do to resolve the problem? -
I want to get a backup camera that shows on the navigation screen. Does anyone know if there is a way to do that? 2007 SC430 Thanks Charley

Help! Unplugging/Disabling Sat/Nav System
AmandaLexus posted a topic in 10 - 15 Lexus RX350 / RX450h
Hello, I need to figure out if there is way to disable/unplug the antenna/wire that controls the communication of the Satellite Navigation and WiFi system on a Lexus 2015 RX 350. I have a health condition now where I am sensitive to certain, I am not sure what to call it , but EMF/Radio Frequency. Being around bluetooth and regular radio waves is fine. The problem is the stronger Satellite Navigation communication waves I guess you call it. Question is - is there a way to disable the Satellite Navigation connection or unplug this wire or even remove it? All I need is bluetooth and AM/FM radio, Aux. There is the shark fin on top of the roof that I am guessing has the bundle of wires in it. Is it in there? Could I potentially replace the shark fin antenna with another just AM/FM Bluetooh (not sure if bluetooth needs antenna) antenna? I called Lexus and they said that it could not be done because the Sat/Nav system is all one unit with the radio, but I am guessing that just means that the wires are all bundled together? Is it possible to unbundle for the Sat/Nav one to be removed? As far as the Wifi Lexus said that since switching to 5G the older models 2017 and below are no longer transmitting because they are incapable of 5G network. But if possible is that something that could 'officially' be unplugged/removed too? Does anybody out there have any deeper knowledge on these wirings/electronics? Greatly appreciate it. Would love to be able to drive my Lexus again -
Help! Unplugging/Disabling Sat/Nav System
AmandaLexus replied to AmandaLexus's topic in 10 - 15 Lexus RX350 / RX450h
Thank you for your input Les. I really appreciate it That sort of sounds similar to, at least in part, to what the service rep told me from Lexus. That maybe it was the SOS system communication. She said I could just press the button and tell the people on the 'other side' to disable it. ...but when I press the button it has a recorded voice that comes on with prompts saying it is disabled and to enable follow these so and so steps. That has me wondering about he Navigation system, I am thinking at least. The service rep also noted to me that 2017 and older models (I have 2015) have the internal WiFi disabled or not communicating she said because of the switch to 5G for newer models hence none of the apps work.. but something is transmitting for Navigation. Unfortunately definitely more than fears. I can not drive the car for more than an hour or two, sometimes less, without getting symptoms,. You may have hit on something when you said it is like a cell phone. I still have an iphone 6 4LTE and have been ok with that, but the newer cell phones make me sick (5G etc, don't know what I am going to when the iphone 6 finally does quit, but so far so good) If the SOS system of the DCM is already disabled then cutting of the Nav system shouldn't translate to alarm over to Lexus, would it? This is very hard for me to interpret as I am not a electronics/car person by any stretch. I just love Lexus RX for a lot of different reasons. I really don't know anything and am doing my best to understand and seek help where I can like these forums for any and all insight. I am taking it to a shop at some point too, to have it investigated but seems this is nothing anyone has dealt with. Thank you so much. Maybe others will know too and can weigh in 🙏 -
Help! Unplugging/Disabling Sat/Nav System
Les Lex 2018 replied to AmandaLexus's topic in 10 - 15 Lexus RX350 / RX450h
Quote from my manual: The functionality of Lexus Enform Destinations, Dynamic Navigation, and Wi-Fi® Hotspot is made possible through the shared work of the DCM and the system. The DCM / Digital Communications Module is just a Lexus cell phone dedicated to communicate with Lexus sites exactly the same way you communicate with others on your cell phone. Same animal, so your fears of being exposed to harmful waves are likely based on acquired mis-information. The Sat antenna is used to pull coordinate data for the Nav system. If it's used at all to talkback to a Sat, it would only be used during a distress call. Based on the DCMs position in the data stream, there is no way you could disable it w/o causing alarms to go off at Lexus. If you find conflicting information, Amanda, please let me know. -
Thanks much - I understand the initial upgrade was 2013-14 - are there any issues with the hard top?

The head unit is the only one that will not accept the Tesla Style upgrade. Best I can figure is that it has to do with the navigation, whereas the other OEM head units were without. I'm trying to wrap my brain around how to get past this issue and came up with either changing out the wiring harness to the harness that would allow the Tesla Style head unit to connect or rerouting the pins on the connectors to match up. Haven't given much thought to it other than getting the model number of my OEM and the model number of an acceptable OEM. The next step is to identify the pins on each OEM version for mapping the reroute. All hands on deck if I'm walking the plank here! Need someone to reel me back in if I'm off course.

LEXUS NAVIGATION SCREEN FROZEN WHITE
2007 is350 posted a topic in 07 - 13 Lexus IS250 / IS350 / IS-F
Hey guys, I drive a 2007 Lexus IS350 with x-package. My navigation screen suddenly went completely white. Just plain blank white. Everything still works though. The radio and everything functions. And even when you touch the screen itself you hear the feedback and noise that it's working. But the screen itself stays white and I can't see anything. Anyone know what the problem may be? -
Heads Up Display 2023 ES 350
Alan N replied to Art Chin's topic in 2019 - Present ES250 / ES300h / ES350 / ES350h
WE picked up ES 250 AWD about a month ago. The monitor would do strange things. The apple car would sometimes making calls didn't always work. work. The Lexus navigation would also sometimes work. You did not know when each would work. Each time we went back to the dealer and they reset things. But nothing stayed in place. Finally, yesterday, while driving the phone stopped working and the screen went blank. We took the car to the Lexus Service. We left the car running and they saw the blank screen. After a little while the called and said the monitor system would have to be replaced. Today, Lexus called and said the part is on back order with the vendor and they will get back to us with an ETA. Luckily, we got a car to used. It was amazing at how many people tried to get the monitor to work. We suspected a problem from the start. This reminded me of a problem we had a number of years ago with a different brand. The driver's seat belt didn't fit right. That dealer accused of of not knowing how to put the seat belt on. Eventually they fixed the problem. Hopefully we have the only defective monitor. -
I bought this 2012 RX350 a couple of week ago. It is a pleasure to drive. It seems well laid out and is very comfortable especially compared to my CR-V. I was disappointed to not have the speed shown on the navigation display. Am I missing a setting or is that option just not available?
