  1. I have the e-shift. . .but don't forget, the IS300 has a 3.0 liter V6 engine. . .hit the pedal to the medal and you'll get the same response from either Auto or Manual. The only thing that it's good for is for when you want to shift. You'd be suprised how fast 2nd gear can go. Only thing that frustrates me is that it will not let you control 1st gear. It's 2-5 only. :( -Mac
  2. I bought a 2003 IS that came with stock 17" wheels that had the Potenza RE92 All-Season tires. I live in Ohio and we had the worst winter storm in a long time ealier in the year and it handled suprisingly great. If you don't race much and don't mind the slight performance decrease, this would probably be the best solution. My over-all goal is to use stock in the winter and get 18's for the summer. Something about 16's...it just doesn't look right on this car. -Mac
  3. Hey Rarpork, I got my '03 IS300 fresh off the boat in early February. The dealer, or whoever, should've put something on for you since it is required by law. I'd have a talk with my Lexus sales guy if I were you to make sure they mount it on for you properly. Good Luck with it. -Mac
