  1. i know but like the responding time, is it as fast as manual or slow or etc...
  2. have anyone read the recent super street magazine one that have an article of a black IS300 SRT turbocharged with 503hp/427torque? anyway, does anyone know what stage that is? i want the stage that he has. i only want to have at least/most 500hp, not too much nor too less. i dont want 1000hp like the stage 4. if i were to get stage 3, they said that it'll give me around 425-450hp. is that like w/o other mods that you can also put in to raise it up even more? like around 503hp+-? like exhaust, oil cooler, pulleys, etc...
  3. as you all know that i dont have an IS300 yet but will. anyway, i cant really drive manual cuz i've never "actually" driven one for a long distance. my friend has a manual and i kept stalling it out on 1st gear. so i've decided to get E-shift, is it samething? or E-shift is alittle different cuz you can either use the buttons on the steering or the shift in the middle? doesn E-shift type have 2 ways of changing gear? automatic and Electronically(steering wheel). tnx! well my real question is the responding time, is E-shift responding(gear change) time as same as a manual?
  4. are they same thing? isnt RX300 an SUV? just wondering cuz when i selects the Lexus Forum from Home, there are 2 IS300 directories but when i entered one, it's RX300 instead of the IS300. the second one.
  5. well i have an Injen intake for my GT Celica, i think Injen makes good intakes since they're more popular(i heard...). im thinking about getting one for the IS300 too. but for the exhaust, quite expensive but im saving up for L-sportline exhaust. i think that L-sportline is own by Toyota too, just like TRD. TRD makes stuffs for Toyota, L-sportline samething. i think!
  6. who would win? i like Honda/Acura cuz the make fast cars with small engine(4cylinders), i.e. S2000, RSX-S, etc... Toyota/Lexus makes moderately fast cars with about same engine size, i.e. '00+ Celica, ... that's it(that's all i could think of)? i wished that if Lexus would just make/give the IS300 a nice 300hp V6 like the GS430? GS430 is just too big/family type to be a sport sedan. the thing i like about Toyota/Lexus is that i like their style, looks sweet as anything. so what about you guys which would you guys voted for as the best car company? between those 2 anyway.
  7. i dont know that if this guy was truly know stuff about cars like he claimed to be but i heard he said that once you used synthetic oil, you cannot go back to regular oil. according to him, he said that synthetic has micro/tiny metallic in it to cut the cylinders/pistons while flowing to make small cuts for more oil flow and therefor, boosting performance. but regular oil doesnt do that so when you're going back, there are cuts beeing made and now the regular oil just flow like crazy and flood the engine.
  8. and to boost both hp and torque at the same amount, turbo does it or supercharger? tnx!
  9. hey there's a Veilside body kit that looks just like a Civic, im thinking about getting the kit and make the Altezza like the Civic. debadge everything, and put Honda+Civic emblems on. heehehheeh!!! it's funny to race with ppl who are too cocky.
  10. well since im new to Lexus IS300, Altezza, im thinking about getting header, intake manifold, and intake. trying to be a sleeper. what is the most recommended brand for the performance parts above? tnx!
  11. goto these sites, www.i-m-racing.com/, or try www.ebay.com/
  12. go here, they have quite alot of the stuffs for the IS300. www.intensepower.com/
  13. well i know how to remove the Celica's map light housing, that doesnt really help does it? well just look around, there should be screws, or just snaps off. im sure that it's not glue, cuz it should be a replaceable thing. or else it's just stupid! im sure that it just pops off if there are no screws around.
  14. greeting ppl! im about to get a brand new IS300, either '04 or '05, black with tan leather interior E-shift. im trying to see if TRD makes exhaust for them or not, and also if TRD makes supercharger for the IS300. if not, what's a good brand for supercharger that i should get for the IS300? i have 2 cars though, my '02 Celica GT is going to be my schooling/working car. and the IS300 going to be the car ill race and occassional driving, just trying to keep it low mileage. i already put $2G in the Celica, exhaust, intake, sound system, and a little of appearance parts. but im done with that car now, no more $ wasted on that car. all will go onto the IS300. tnx!
