well i have a few pics at home so i can send those to you..the car is auto. all serivces done. has 2 brand new headlights, cus the owner dint liek the yellow in them and didnt wanna put them in the oven etc. also he recently backed into a fire hydrant, and they installed a new bumper, and since the dealership couldnt match the paint they painted the whole car. the keyless entry doesnt work, but it might just be a battery. Ill e mail you the pics, if you can post your email adress. the guy is a co worker of mine so i mostly chat with him, but after i post the pics, if you wanna come up and take a look test drive carfax check etc lemme know. i can help you set it up with him...its a good deal if you can live with the V6 :) maybe he was being considerate and knows the car has problems that he doesnt want you to go thru

Hey man.. I know of a person selling an SC300 its about 180 miles from you. I study at JMU btw...THE CAR is in delaware, and probably 20 times better than the car you mentioned. IT has been one owner, and kept and mainted by 55+ male. All records maintained at lexus. I want to buy the car, but i didnt because its an Sc300 and i really want a 400 so im holding out. the problems i noticed were the needeles, and the ac display. plus the drivers seat was pretty rough. Besides that engine is perfect, only 109k miles on it. the guy is also asking only 5500$. im sure he would come down to 5000 if you were to get serious. The car is excellent compared to what you described. has the 6 cd changer and peral white paint. If YOU Buy the car probably the only thing that needs adress soon (if you are alergice), is an interior wash.! cya!

IS NO one selling a good condition SC400 with not more than 150k miles for around 5000?

I love lexus...but i have one problem with all these studies....are they even THINKING of taking into account the number of electronics in a car...its like comparing a civic to a rolls royce...by an electronics stand point. The bmw has SOOO many electronics and options and in you kearn how to use it you can customize it to your own preferance and touch. they have things like tap the indicator and itll be on for 3 tiks for a quick lane change..and so so so many other things.. Now i agree you hardly need all those things and why have them if they fail...but they should rather than says Oh bmw's electronics failed 100 times...and lexus did 35...but lexus did 35 out of 50..and bmw did 100 out of a thousand.. Im sorry i dont mean to offend any one at all and i love lexus..ive had a GS400 for a long time and love it., But i just hate the bias of these studies. Thank you and sorry for any offense taken.

GO for the sc...and try to ge thte price down further...remember they probably pais 2k below KBB trade in....go the sc mainly because your slk will be worth 5k less next yr because of the shape change..price adjustment due to old shape is huge...plus the sc is beautiful and maybe you can squeeze a person int eh back..you see much fewer around and all round a better car//

dont pay more than 22 for that car...tell the dealer ill give you 22 for buy it today...even though im not a dealer...i have dealer passwords so i can see how much they get it at auction for...a 200 gs300 with nav above avg at auction is going for about 18-21500...its a great car...also the new shape is comming next yr so expect a 3000 dollar hit as soon as that hapens

Car is in delaware...about a half hour from philly...interier color is beige. 109k miles on the car all one owner. except for the drivers seat...and the airconditioner lcd (99$ fix). every thing else is working and in good condition. Sorry can not access outside mail at work...Lucky i can get here. Corporate america Go figure..

man...i dont know about you but ive not seen cars go for much longer after 250,000 miles...infact ive not even seen that many...also we all know a car driven by a granpa and an enthusiast is completely different. The car i saw...is completely stock. there was a brand new paint job a few k miles ago. its the pearly white so its hard to match. the car is completely driveable and the timing belt was recently changed. the person has all the records and it was driven by somebody 50+. the work you would need is the side view mirror adjusting thing..memory seats...a little work on the cd changer...and probably have the car washed on the inside..the drivers side seat is pretty rough too..i can mail you a few pics i took..where on the east coast are you ?? dude i can get an sc 300 for 5000. just needs some work...mainly NOTHING...all minor stuff...cracks on the seat.. side view mirrors not working with buttons..the needles are out..immaculate and on the east coast with the pearly white paint ?

Well went to see the car. IT WAS A 300. not that its bad or anything. the drivers seat was crazked there was water on the carpet of the front door..it was really dirty semlt liek a dog...it was used to move the dog around...Did NOT like it at all...if any of you know of an SC400 for sale..for 4500$ max please let me know...i have a manheim log in so ive got hte aution well covered thank you

THANKS JEREMY.. im going to look at an sc400 today....there are a few problems...the instrument cluster...the remote keys dont work..and soemthing is hte problem with the displya of the ac. it has a 115000 miles and the seats are rough so the owner says. it is a 92 heated seats etc. Hes selling it for 4000$ timing belt changed recently..its well maintained but due to spending half of its life outside of a grage its kind of bad on the inside. He recently backed into a hydrant and got a whole new paint job. (has the pearly white which can not be matched). I havent seen it as yet though. what do you think. i will let you know after i see it today.

ZigZAG...For your year and mileage, you should definately be able to get around 8k for it. I am sorry i can not afford more. If you want to sell for 5K ill be more than happy to buy it. im looking to buy a Sc400/300. dont want to spend more than 4500$ and would prefer to be below 150k...ive seen a few that are around the 125 mark for 5000 also one of the ones i was looking to buy has the instrument and the lcd of the ac/stereo out. I know lextech does work on there, but do we have to mail it in to them or do it our selves?? thank you for any help.
