  1. I have a 2007 IS 250 AWD. Last year I had acceleration problems. I took it to the dealership 5 or 6 times as well. They could never recreate the problem. Ultimately they figured it out. If my memory serves me correctly, it had something to do with an engine cylinder problem. My dealership is Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis. My Service Tech's name is Shanan Jackson. John T.
  2. You should have the same tires all around. My question to the dealer would be to check why the front tires are worn out and the back tires are ok. Is there much difference in tread wear and tear? If so I would look into the alignment and whatever else can effect uneven tire wear and tear. There's got to be a reason for the tread wear discrepency.
  3. I have a 2007 IS250 AWD. I had the bra put on this summer. I like it it comes up about a 1/3 of the way on the hood. I wish they offered it when I purchased my car. You can see the line but it is not very noticable. They do a really good job of applying it. $700 is very pricey I agree. I would suggest looking on the Lexus website and look for is 250 coupe assesories for a picture also next time at your dealership see if they have a vehicle and or loaner on the lot with the mask on. That's what I did and I was able to see it on a actual vehicle. John
  4. I had the same problem. My local Lexus dealership was stumped as well. The dealership determined that they caused this problem when they did some recall work on my vehicle. In essence my cylinder # 6 was miss firing and the engine was cutting off gas to that cylinder. My dealership had my car a total of 3.5 weeks over a 6 week period before they called in a Lexus engineer. I have have my car back for two weeks without the problem arising. " Knock on Wood". Have your dealership contact mine for the resolution. My dealer is Tom Wood Lexus in Indianapolis, IN. My service tech is named Shanan Jackson. I drive a 2007 IS250 AWD. I hope this helps.
  5. Check with your local dealer, but I belive the 10k service is complementary. John
