  1. could be that you have some cylinders misfiring or not firing at all. Have you checked the leads, coils and spark plugs?. (sorry if this advise is already given)
  2. could be an earth strap not being put back correctly when replacing the alternator
  3. Thanks Steve, It was actually a perfectly clear day. What you see is the result of a crap camera :)
  4. Yep a 1989 Jaguar XJ6. One of the last real Jags before Ford f00ked em up..lol My Jaguar owning neighbors over here would never have bought their cars if Ford hadn't interjected a bit of reliability and modernity. No offense 1990ls400 but reliability is the one thing Ford didn't ad to the jags...the 90's series xj6 is crap
  5. thanks Blake. yes quiet indeed..lol. It also seems that she accelerates quicker now that the egr pipe is fixed....

  17. Hello from a rainy Scotland, I'm a member on the UK forum and just joined here. My problem: My 1993 LS is making quite a noise when cold (higher idle) and also when the A/C kicks in. At first I thought it was a cracked manifold but after reading on here I now suspect it is the EGR pipe. Is there a write-up somewhere on how to access and fix this? Any help or advise is much appreciated. Cheers, Ruud
