  1. Heater core replacement is quite a hard and time consumming jobs. But, it's not mean impossible for you to save $2700+ if you can do your own. My suggess is that you have to make sure if the Heter core leaking. How you know!! quite easy. if your aircondition is still working fine, no outside leaking and have not recharged feon sometime, then probadly your heater core is ok. What usually happend is that dirt covers the draining hose and cause the water over flow and pilling from inside right on top of the computer. The water you see when a/c runing is from the air hummity, it needs to be draining out through a rubber hose is about 3 inches long. Right below, infront of heater core. Clean it up, checking it by pouring some water and see if it can escape though that hose. If it does, you are good to go. and replace the computer. you can rebuild your computer from ebay or (Toll Free: (866-983-6688 . Email: ate@autoecu.com Website: www.autoecu.com Location). Cheap and save instead of buy new computer. replace computer is quite easy. it is on passenger side, under the mat and carpet. Remove the black plastic cover and you will see it there. Good luck.. : :)
  2. What and why you think the fuel pump won't let your car start? there is also a fuse for fuel pump on the left side kick from driver side. You can alos check that fuse next to the battery. You need to check if the fuse blew out. Next, did you check your distributor or you can test each individual spark plug if it firing when you staring engine? If those 2 things ok, but still not start, check your spark plug cables if they are all in right postion. if everything ok, only thing left is your ECU.
  3. Your Engine Control Unit (ECU) or Speed sensor #1 bad or throttle position sensor. ECU is located under passenger feet and #1 sensor on transmission housing tail and throttle positon sensor on top of engine, throttle air intake.
  4. Did you check inside car temperature sensor. It located right next to the igintion key. It look like about 1 square inch grill window. That sensor most likely gives you the problem of because sending wrong message to the computer. It might be either disconected or went out. Test that sensor resistant from 1600-1800 Ohm at 77 F degree. and 500-700 ohm at 122 F degree. If your sensor is not met that, replaced sensor. it not need to be exacted the same but at least its resistance must change acording to changing of temperature.
  5. I had the same problem like you. But I was not able to find a same type of back light buls anywhere that can fit in socket size. My last choice was buying a complete cluster. I got my instrument cluster working perfectly now. Remove and install the light buls was quite easy. Still need help you can email me. I will share whatever i know

  8. Usually, you will see big letter L for low side and H for high side on each of those platic cap. Or you can track a charge feon on Suction hose's vale. It is a low side.
