Thanks Jeff. I am just trying to get ready for when it is time for my battery change. Where did you get yours changed? Do you think using a 9Volt battery is something that all mechs know to do, so if I take mine to AutoZone and install it in the parking lot. They will have the 9V battery attachment? I have a 99 rx300, and I have a new 2002 steering wheel I would like to install will it work.

When they installed my battery yesterday, pretty basic, but they install a 9volt battery in the lighter to keep the computer and radio settings. They said if you did not do this the car wont start for 30 minutes.....I think thats wrong.

yes that might be true, but what do you mean but performance???? goes faster, more miles per gallon what is performance? I still see it equal.

If I am doing the math right its about equal. Your paying .20 more per gallon, and getting 1-2 miles more. The only thing I see is using higher grade of gas.

Yep thats right I have a 1999 rx 300 also and I love it. I bought it about a year ago with 132,000 now I have 141,000. She runs great. Gas mileage in city 16.5 hwy 20. I live in florida no mountains, my tallest hill is the skyway bridge. New they got 19 city and 24 hwy.

Hello, does anyone know where to get a servo motor. rx 300 1999 140,000 miles.

Try selecting different modes for the ac/heat vents, then turn the temp knob hot then cold. More than likely it's the servo that controls vent placement and its getting stuck at the upper vent position. See if it stops when you select it to the both, defrost, or lower vent mode. There are two servos and they are located behind the left hand side of the glove box. Thanks for the rely. Next time it does this I'll try your sugestions. Does it matter if the a/c is off when it does this, or does the servos have a mind of there own?

Hello, New to this club. Looking over alot of topics grest stuff. I have a 99 rx300 140,000 miles. She runs great. This week the car starting making a humming drilling sound form the radio consol area. What is this from? Not all the time 5 times for the last week. Thanks agin for the great club. Jeff
