  1. Hi, i own a 1992 Sc400, nice, but i live in mexico, i cannot legalize it mexico a Lexus car, but instead i could legalize a Soarer, since its a toyota. I know that both are Toyotas, but what can i do, it's mexico. My intention it's not to talk politics, i only would like to know if someones know iof a soarer made in USA, we can know it from the VIN number if starts with as J, was made outside US, i'll be glad to hear that someones own a Toyota soarer 1992, Im lookin for someone made in US, (vin number starts with 1,2,3 or 4), thanks for the help :D. Omar.
  2. Those are signal ligths that operate when you activate the turn signal (note that doesnt blink, and that won turn on with the emergency ligths) As far as i know if want to use it like fog lamps, you migth investigate a little, there will be a switch that will activate permanently those ligths. once you have that solve, you migth want to change the lamps. If you want to to make it more clear the cover, you can go to a bodyshop and tell them what you want. The will let you know that with 2 hands of a Clear (ask for high quality clear), you will get a almost clear cover. That it's all i have in mind. Omar.
  3. Hi guys. As i understand at year 1992 was a luxury option to have a cell phone included on the car, but not any more. Im understanding since i hear the phone on my speakers that it's a line in. Do you know how to use it to connect my phone, i dont want to tear appart every little thing and screw someting. Please note that if some ones gime me the theory, i'll document any change that i'll do, and for future reference will be available. Maybe the "1 button" 2 button and phone icon button will work like change song, vol up, mute. That's not easy to do, but if someone wants to participate feel free. another thing, if that doesnt work, i'll probably use the line in from the cd changer, easy to find. but im thinking instead of use a cheap switch, i migth use something used on Mac computers, it's a jack in, that comes with a switch included (no need to install an ugly switch anywhere). Only detects if there's signal. Thanks. Omar.
  4. HI, i read your post, I have a 92 Sc400, with something handy called "Cell phone on the car", if course doesnt need it, but when i turn on the car i hear the beeb coming from the front speakers. MAybe if you see under the jack (rear driver side), you will find that cell module, or only the connector, with the thelp of a Voltimeter you could find the 12v + and -, if you dont have a voltimeter, just use a bulb ligth with two cables. Jejeje. That should be a nice 12v suply. If you dont find it, maybe from the connector fron the cd changer.
