Yeah 8K to rebuild new motor also gotta leave car there for about 3 weeks or so. Of course i have same thought with you , rather spend 8K to get new motor than getting other vehicle & plus with all mods that i already spent in the past year. Regarding to boring out the cylinder i havent ask so much detail yet, but im pretty sure it can be done and will work something out. But do you really need to be bore out thou? as far as i know if you lookin to get more Hp that what you need ~ port & bore out.

Doughjohn2, Yes actually that also i that with whole bunch landcrusier freaks :D that we were arguing about some rich guy (owned oil co) he owned landcrusier and decided to built one of the fastest landcrusier in the WORLD! so he did and this guy from AVO international got involved because he mention that he was there on the scene. and they were doing 300km/ 200mph on the sahara desert something like that. and i was freak out & surprised when they started mention 760hp.. Hey anyways.. the other day we had conversation ( I , Christo & Ben ) from sleeoffroad i was talking about rebuild my motor ( to get whole thing new ) and cost about 8K , do you think this sounds little too much?

Merbesfield, Advantage & Disadvantage Turbo Vs Supercharged, For daily commute (work, etc..) i rather choose Turbo because Turbo has lag and will hit in certain RPM -like above 2800-3K so its good. For instance when you stuck in traffic (bumper to bumper) you not using Turbo @ all.Only open road that when you hit gas pedal hard that when the Turbo kicks in. While Supercharged has no lag , like open throttle you hit gas pedal it kicks in all RPM ... Theres 2 diferrent category for Turbo & Supercharged but also for reliability i still choose Turbo over the Supercharged because Supercharged its kick in all the time and sounds like or more like abuse your engine. May i ask why you need Turbo or supercharged?

Yeah both the website didnt list the landcruiser & LX470 blower (Supercharged) but actually if you give them a call -yes they do carry them. I think you can get the TRD supercharged from local Toyota dealer from ur area. As far as reliable or unreliable im not sure about that, sorry im not fan of blower but Turbo yeah

GlennR, HID no longer street legal? since when? who said that? I had Phillips Real HID system since '98 until now... 7 years i had no problem @all. Now when you mention street legal ~ how much/ which candle power you talking about here? for the HID system that street legal is not more than 8K bright /candle power <~ thats same use on the Benz,Bimmer 7 series & Lexus SC430 all of those car use 8K. Probably that you got mixed up & misunderstood with the 15K . I know theres some real/very bright HID out there,I mean super bright it can blind other driver & cause accidents.Now that you definetely asking for ticket..LOL..

I didnt know about Sylvanias but my advice just be carefull u dont know until try it & find out. Back then i had some good brand name ( Sorry i dont mention product name here ) and happened to bad & melted all the headlight wiring socket i had those hi-wattage bulbs for about 5/6 months in my car and will ever/never put that in any of my car again. Since then i only stick with REAL HID (Ballast, Relay & HID Bulbs)

Good Luck but just becareful because i had bad experienced with those hi-wattage bulbs which i drove @nite time & leave the lights on constantly for few hours and end up melted both of the headlights wiring ( Factory socket & wiring ) :( Since that happened no more those junk replacement bulbs for me, get Real Time HID :D

Yeah sometimes strange, after you got out the car and people look at it you holdin the remote button right under your chin.. :D but what da h*&LL... it works anyways, hey but you dont know other people look at you wondering probably this guy got some expensive alarm system . :D

YES u can! I have REAL HID (50K candle power) on my 450 since 1998 until now still lights up the whole street/road.But gotta be carefull those HID can blind others so what u need to do is after installed u need to adjust the headlights (low beam) lil down. Also if u handy guy It wasn't hard for u to do.. the kit comes with Ballast, Relay & HID Bulb. By the way back 8 years ago that wasn't so much to choose for the HID.But now u can (50K,80K &even 100K candle power) Phillips, Raybrig & Hellas are good stuff but expensive. (mine is Phillips) Good Luck~

With the 20x9 ur handling suppose to be good n grip better. I have 23x11 with 305/30/23 Pirelli Asimmetrico 50psi max pressure but i just filled with the 42psi air in all 4. From what i've heard Toyo & Falken are cheap but not good tire/materials.

Is Audiovox good? How bout Clifford? also how long does it takes for them to installed it?

Actually the Safari Snorkel wasnt bad, just the round thing that i dont like by the way the snorkel cost $ 400.00 buck US Dollars back then.. and only this place in Australia sellin them but i think now u should be able get from sleeoffroad. My question is when u click on the attachment above that i post ,U see n think will that piece will directly fit into the 450-air mass sensor?

What i know in the past for both off-road vehicle ( World War II US - Japan before we dropped Nuclear bomb in Hiroshima & Nagasaki ) Back then we were usin Jeep(Willis) and Japan used the LC series and for that was not joke , we talkin about some serious off road (wild jungle) back in 1940. So for that u cant compare both car who/which better? The engineering & designed for both vehicles made to be capable to do off-road and that was 70-80 years ago. And if u look for some serious off road i strongly reccommend 4 cars that capable of which is Humvee not the H2 model, RangeRover, LandCruiser & Jeep because they were in the off-road industry for over the past year.Based on the experienced i seen all the 4 cars in REAL serious WORLD OFF-ROAD challenge. Not like these days all the automaker try to create and designed SUV which we dont know how capable of those SUV??? are they designed them to be REAL off-road?? or wanna be off-road model? im sorry i dont mention quiet name here but u know what im talkin about heh...

Dear Folks: When you activated/ not activated or lock/ unlock (same time) try by pressing the top button (remote) right under touchin your chin.I always do that when i lock or unlock my 450 by pressing the top remote hittin/ touchin right under my chin. The farest i can lock / unlock my 450 is range between 15-20 feet away from car. This maybe sound stupid/ strange to you guys.. hey at least try it & let me know the results.. So once again when you lock/unlock press the remote againts your chin, the edge of the remote gotta touch your chin. I did 'em in all the car with different remote & the results sometimes im surprised that i can lock/unlock from far distance. :D
