Philip.... I purchased a GS300 98 with 76k miles for 18K with 1 owner also....now I am wondering if the dealer GOT ME.

Nastboi--- I have come to your rescue :) If you go to www.lexus.com go to the owners tab click on select lexus magazine Register then login on the right of screen scroll down to Quick link you will see drop down box and She Bangs She Bangs :P you can order the manual and brochure and guess what? they are FREE I called the Lexus Dealership and they charge $19.00 The brochure/manual came very quickly in the mail. Hope this helps. ;)

Ok apparently the previous owner placed the device that controls the CD Changer in the the trunk in the "flip up" near the gear shift area.... since the cup holders were designed poorly. Guess they found better use for that spot. Thanks

I have looked everyone for the cupholder (for the front) all around the console. Did the 98 model come with a driver/passenger cup holder/s? :o I found the cup holder for the backseat (that was obvious) Please advise Thanks

Hellooooooooooo since I don't have a garage I was thinking about purchasing a car cover (to protect paint from the sun and other elements) from the lexus dealership... the guy said it would fit like a glove made specific for the GS300 the cost is $ 224.00. Anybody own one or know of where I can find one just as good for less money? I must admit I thought the lexus dealership was going to quote some ridiculous price like $800.00. By the way I find this forum be very interesting w/ lotttttttttts of information. FYI: I get soooooooo much attention when driving my Lex :P Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :D

Congrats! Alexus-kia on your new car! I purchase my Gs300 on Mar 6th Would you please check your manual for proper octane. What color is yours? How many Miles did your car have when you purchased? I am really loving my car this is my dream car. Thanks Again

I am new to the Lexus cars I use 87 octane gas for my honda.... is it ok if I use the same type for my GS300 or should I use a higher Octane? I don't want any problems to occur because of octane is to low..... please advise :o

Nikki---- I purchased a 1998 GS300 2 weeks ago the one of my headlights had moisture inside also , I noticed the condensation is gone now (however I know it probably return depending on the weather temperture) The dealer told me this is a Issue with Lexus cars... I don't know how true that is since I am new to the lexus family.

I just purchased my GS300 (98) about 2 weeks ago.... I read from a previous post if I register with Lexus they would provide manual free of charge ( up to 30 days )however I can not find on the lexus website car registration info. I am loving my car. (if only I had the owners manual) Thanks in advance. :P
