  1. TwinTurbo, I did the antenna yesterday. Just like new! Thanks, for all your help. All I need now is to get this darn CD Changer put in. I know you said from the trunk (passenger side), down the side of the back seat, under the running boards, up behind the glove box, to the back of the radio. To take the console off, take off the vent area, then the shifter console area, then the ashtray, then unscrew the bolts to take the radio out. I am still going to wait for pics, but I just wanted to get an idea of what I needed to do. Did I list everything correctly? Man, I am sooooo tired of listening to the radio when I have a brand new CD Changer waiting to be played. :D
  2. Okay... Sorry... I will wait (impatiently)... :whistles: Just joking... Thanks, again.... :D
  3. One more question: :D Do you know how to take off the antenna motor? I just received my antenna mast and it is broken, so I have to go and remove the remaining nylon tube in the motor. Thanks, again... Standing by for pics and more info..... :D
  4. So, is it pretty easy to run the wire from my trunk, behind my backseat and down to the running boards? I know I am asking a lot of questions, but I just want to do this right. Listening to just the radio is driving me CRAZY! Any other details you can provide me? How should I take the console off to get to the back of my factory radio? (Top console (with the vents), then shifter console, then ashtray, then the radio)?
  5. What do yo mean "run it down under the carpet all the way to the head unit"? Please provide details. I need all the help and assistance I can get. Thanks, for all the info!
  6. TwinTurbo, I see there is a wire running from my current CD Changer running from the trunk to behind my backseat. The Din plugs are not the same, so I will have to run my Din plug from my new changer to the back of my radio. Here is the tough part.... How do I get that wire from my trunk to the back of my radio? I do I get access to the back of my backseat? Do I need to take it out? If so, how do I do that? Any help you can provide me will be gratly appreciated. I am trying to do this as soon as possible. Thank you, in advance.
  7. Well, for now I have a JVC CD Changer I need to install. I am taking out that PYLE CD Changer I have because it has given me nothing but problems since day 1. Being that I have that PYLE CD Changer already, should it be easy enough for me to take out the PYLE CD Changer and install the new JVC without me messing something up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I don't have anything yet. Just getting an idea.
  9. How did you wire an aftermarket amp to your factory sub? Did you also run it to your factory radio and factory speakers too? Let me know the details, please. I want to do that same mod. Thanks!
  10. I need to get to my FM Modulator to replace a fuse and it is under the center console, kinda under my shifter area. How do I take it off? Anyone, Please Help! I am sick of listening to the radio! :o
  11. Taking all suggestions! Can anyone hlep me to get off my center console or atleast the area around my shifter?
  12. I have pics, but not with my wheels on it. I will be post when I take some new pics with my new wheels and of course when the car is clean. :D I am still trying to find a way to get to that FM Modualtor under the center console...
  13. MAN! Mine is black, too, but your paint job looks immaculate! Did you just recently paint it? I did follow the remote wire but it stops under the center console and I don't know how to remove it, yet.
  14. I have the FM Modulator. I control my CD Changer with a wired remote. By the way, NICE CAR! Yes, my car came with this changer because the Lexus CD Changer that was in my trunk was broken. So, they put in an aftermarket Changer.
  15. I am assuming it is between the center console and the backseat. Where should it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP. I only have the radio to listen to while all my CDs collect dust! :(
  16. I have an aftermarket CD changer (PYLE) in my 96 GS300. Here's the dilemma. I need to get to the FM Modulator to replace a fuse. I know the FM Modulator is between my center console and my back seat. So, how do I take my center console off? Not the whole thing, just the part toward the back of the console (closest to the back) so I can look under there to see if the FM Modulator is under there. And how do I take my back seat out? I keep getting an error code on my changer and the manufacturer told me to check my fuses at the FM Modulator. PLEASE HELP! I am tired of listening to the RADIO!
  17. I need a spare key for my 1996 GS 300. I heard someone was selling them for a cheap price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  18. I have a set of Enkei wheels and I want to get a set of Lexus center caps for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  19. Can I just have it installed and that's it? Do I have to have my factory speakers re-wired or anything? All I want to do is have a CD player in my dash. Someone told me I would have to have all my speakers re-wired if I put in an aftermarket CD player. Is this true? Please help... I have a 1996 GS300. :(
  20. I hate the way my car looks without my foglights! How do I change the bulb? I have a 1996 GS 300.....
  21. Can I just put that black rubber antenna in the same spot? I think it is called a fubar (sp) antenna or something?? Oh yeah... nice looking car TURBO!
  22. My antenna stopped going up and down when I turn my radio on and off. I can hear the motor still running though. Should I get a new/different antenna or what? Can I fix it without having to purchase another antenna? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1996 GS300.
