  1. Found a list of TSB's for our cars, but it seems a bit outdated http://www.lambros.net/2007LS460L/tsib/ Anyone know of a more up-to-date list?
  2. Found the TSB that shows how it's done. 20minutes to copy 3.5GB file and 20min to copy a second 4GB file across USB and requires a USB security token. Bummer http://www.lambros.n.../L-SS007-07.pdf
  3. What's typically wrong with those amps? Blown out transistor(s) or dead caps?
  4. I never renewed my subscription after the trial ended. I use Google traffic on my smartphone instead. I already pay for a data plan, so it comes for 'free.' Traffic updates are far more real time, and there's a lot more road coverage. Kind of a shame it can't be integrated into the Nav unit in lieu of XM/Sirius. For that matter, I use Pandora instead of XM Radio also. I'm running high quality audio mode, and it sounds better than XM/Sirius for whatever reason. I'm on the road for at least 3hrs a day. That works out to be about 500MB/week. I let my Sirius subscription expire in my Sync unit in my Ford truck as well. Fuel prices on that Travel Link thing were never less than 1-2 days old. Useless. I use GasBuddy on my phone instead. The best part is, I pay for one data plan on my phone and it goes with me regardless of the number of cars I drive. No need to mess with multicar subscription rates.
  5. Some guys still don't know how to put on lugnuts properly. Clowns. I normally retorque everything myself after getting home when anyone touches the wheels, but I got distracted and forgot this one time after the brake assembly was worked on under warranty. Sure enough, they warped shortly afterwards. When I checked there was one lugnut significantly tighter than the others on both front tires. Dealer tried denying it by saying they didn't take the wheels off to replace the brake assembly. I said that's a pretty good trick. He later agreed to fix it. Afterwards, I made sure I retorqued them myself. Again, they were unevenly torqued. No issues since. This isn't an isolated incident. The clowns at Costco did the same to another car of mine years ago. Waving their torque wrenches around is meaningless. Most guys are lazy and use their impact wrenches to spin the nuts on first. FAIL.
  6. I buy Castrol GTX 5W-20 non-synthetic for about $1 per quart whenever it goes on sale + rebate here in San Jose.
