We have no snow here but what we do have is a lot of rough bad roads, and this RX300 is prone to a lotta tire/road noise. What tire provides a cushy and quieter ride? My default would be to go to Sams and say "put on the top-end Michelin"......

I agree - this vehicle is about as noisy as my toyota corolla.... sorta numbing to the ears. But the steps you're talking about price out at over $2K also. at least thats what Cartoyz here tells me, in fact they don't really want the job.... too time-consuming. Have you actually had this work done, and if so, what were the costs, and the results? thx

Looks like no posts for awhile.... is that a Positive sign? I am picking up today my 2001 RX300 w/75K miles. Before its delivered the dealr is pulling heads and snooping around. The car has a good maintenance history all at Lexus dealers, so we can see what has been done. I'm hoping to dodge some of these issues by being proactive on Brake pad replacements and tranny maintenance, frequent oil changes. I only need to get about 2 years outta this car, then I move on. Around here, justified or not, they hold value well. Not many things do.

First post noob here. just picking up 01 RX300 and same issue on my mind. I want to cover the thing ASAP Which mftrs/models best, and could someone kindly post link if you have.
