  1. The RX330 has a 4' tighter turning radius than the RX300. (37.4' vs 41.3') ...4 ft is a little tighter turning radius than 4-6 inches. The ES350 knocks another 7" off that 37.4 ft turning radius of the RX 330, even though it is a longer vehicle. And our RX330 had what I thought was a glove box rattle, but the dealer fixed it by inserting a rubber molding between the dash and the windshield (nothing visible). Not too expensive to fix, from what I remember. But I could have sworn it came from the glove box but it was the dash rubbing against the windshield. Too bad I didn't catch it while we were still under warranty. Never heard of that. I think my RX 300 may have the same problem then. I could swear it is coming from the glove box though. Next time I drive it I will push on the glove box when I hear to see if it stops.
  2. Yes that would be it. Thats pretty insane. I'd like to go up in a plane like that someday because that feeling must be unlike anything
  3. Those look relatively similar, the cars look completely different though.
  4. Nah... it wasn't that funny.... The granny !Removed! was funnier!! Billy... I'll bet YOU have a real life story that is WAY better than that one!! :D Ok, true story: Well, when we first moved out here to the wilds of Utah, I was out doing some maintenance around the house and out of nowhere this big scruffy guy is standing there watching me. He startled me and I bleet out a "hey, howzitgoin?" The guy says he is my neighbor and he noticed I had just moved in. He asked me if I would like to come over to his place later for a party; that there would be plenty of booze, drugs and s*x. I tell the neighbor, "hey, that sounds pretty good, should I bring anything?" The guy tells me, "naw, I gots it covered, it'll just be you and me." :cries: haha That is great. I would have left wether he was kidding or not.
  5. If it's kept in a garage, then just start and go. Well technically you should wait like 30 seconds for oil circulation. I usually just wait a minute for mine and in that minute i turn on the seat heaters, change my Ipod playlist, set the climate controle....just some stuff to keep me busy and by the time I am done with all of that it's been a minute.
  6. Wow... the turning radius on my wife's IS250 is incredible!!! I've never driven a car with sharper turning radius. I'm surprised at your RX300? I own an IS 250 AWD and yes the turning radius is great, it is so easy to park. But when I drive the RX 300 I can't even pull into my garage without having to go back and forth at least twice.
  7. Thats insane. I went to an air show up in Dayton, OH just because I think that that stuff is cool. And while I was up there they had an F-15 Tomcat and the announcer said that the pilot had to wear a certain suit and helmet so that the blood wouldn't rush out of his head when he took off...Now thats G :D
  8. Wow, the Genesis and that Teana look identical
  9. That is great! Did you think up of that yourself? Very entertaining.
  10. I own a 1999 RX 300 and the turning radius is horrendous. I can hardly do a full circle going around the circle at the top of my street! Just wondering why it had to be that small. I know it is an SUV and that it could flip if you turn it too fast but I think the turning radius is quite too big. Comments?
  11. wow, those do look a lot alike. They both have paddle shifters too. And an AUX/ IPod cable. I just don't think that the rear of the 2IS can be beaten. It just blows my mind. I think that this car is going to be sweet though. All of the "cheaper" car companies have been coming out with sportier cars recently. Like the Saturn SKyy, and the Pontiac Solstice but those weren't really bangs for your buck because under the hood, not too impressive. But this reminds me a lot of the Tiburon which was a decent tuner.
  12. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus...A little pricy but, definitely worth it. Have fun in SoCal
  13. Well depending on what neighborhood you live in you might not have to lock it. I mean if it is in your garage in the morning I highly doubt anybody has the guts to walk into your garage and steal your IS, especially if they won't be able to start it again, ever. Just my thoughts. And I don't know what kind of neighborhood you live in I was just speaking from that standpoint that you do own a Lexus so...you don't live in a *!Removed!*hole.
