Folks,
as you will no doubt have realised, we suffered a major server outage today.
This was a pretty large problem at our hosting company, which affected more sites than just ours.
The hosting company has clearly been working very hard to bring all their affected servers back online.
At approximately 4:15AM CST, a pair of redundant Powerware 500KVA UPS units failed creating a power failure in section B of our DLLSTX2 datacenter. Emergency teams were deployed within minutes and power was restored within minutes but intermmittment power outages did occur until 6:45AM CST. Powerware, JT Packard, and electricians are currently onsite with over 100 Planet technicians working to resolve the issue. We do not anticipate any further outages . A formal RFO will be released once the team debriefs. We apologize for all issues that has caused. -
yeah - Mark's a member of UK LOC.
hey mark ;)
-
what parts your after?
we have a few companies who offer discounts to gold members B)
-
is there anyway that it could be available all the time?? since i just saw the schedule, seems that i won't be available during that time. more members needed to have more chat times???
Den,
its available pretty much 24/7 mate - we put up some guideline times for people.
If you want to try and arrange a different time for a US chat, then let me know mate, and I'll change the times on the page ;)
-
please do post pics and prices Alex ;)

I am biased - I have a dark blue (almost black) car with a grey interior.
I dislike silver cars ( ) - so I would defintely choose the black exterior.
For the interior though - I would get either the beige or black, purely because you get the wodden steering wheel with that trim (I really wanted the wooden steering wheel, but that colour combination was hard to come by when I was looking :( )
-
so.
you don't want to be a member, you just want to sell things to our members, and then move on.
and you are ;
1 - complaining
2 - expecting sympathy from the same members you are hoping to make some money from?
and you call joining up, simply to sell stuff "Community".
did I get that right?
-
Two whole days of good weather ? is that summer ? :D
Very nice job.
The whole cute niece on the scooter so close to the car made me a little nervous !
George
I'm afraid it may have been :(
-
nice pics DM ;)
defintely a cleaner look with clear lenses.
you going to do it dubz?
-
Its actually not protected at all, its located on the bottom portion of the bumper without any protection.
ah - sorry.
its obviously in a different place in the UK (its the shadow behind the (L) emblem)
-
I thought the ACC sensor was protected?
I thought it was behind a little "screen" - like in this pic
-
are these cars in the same "class"?
in the UK, the IS / 3 series would be a better comparison.
to answer your question - it would be the GS, as I don't particularly like BMW's.
But it would be the GS430, not the GS300
-
glad to see you made it hear Mike - told you these guys would try to help
sounds like getting a lawyer and chasing the bastages down is a good idea.
-
nice one!
not seen the Gs450h until now.
looks "fatter" around the behind?
-
and of course - it absolutely *BLEEP*ed down last night.
thats the other reason for taking pics - at least I can remember what it looked like shiny :(
-
did they call the color black onyx ?
no - thats pure black (as Steve says below).
Lexus call it Canterbury Blue.
I can't get a pic that shows it - but this one is good (taken from Lexus.co.uk)
can kinda see the blue in that one.
thats pretty much my car - except for the engine.
-
Is it a good idea or not?
cant think of a better car to do that sort of mileage in.
let us know how you get on? (ie - how much you liked it :D )
-
I don't; I've had the LS up to 120mph a few times, and she was always glued to the ground-never light or floaty...granted it's no GS430 with sports rims and low profile tires. ;)
I wasn't taking a pop mate - sorry if it seemed that way.
its just I got my car back from a service years ago (this was a Renault - not Lexus). The techs had obviously adjusted my tyre pressures.
I picked it up, got in, and the handling was completely diiferent.
It was very light and floaty, the wheel turned much too easily and there was hardly any "feel" for the road.
noticed it immediately - but it took me a while to work out they had massively overinflated my tyres.
-
that chrome trunk bar ROCKS!
that looks sweet mate ;)
-
here's some pics of mine with the orange and clear sidelights.
different place to yours I know - but still shows the difference.
I think its a much cleaner looks.
now you can see the difference, and seems like you got a cheap source, sooooo........
whats stopping you <_<
:D
-
thanks for all your kindwords guys - glad you like it :D
your car really does look magnificent.i love the eyelids. and the black finish is just smashing.
i have black color too, but definetly to old to look that perfect.
its actually a very dark, almost black, blue - but I cannot seem to get a pic that shows it.
-
-
not a fan of the "slammed to ground" look
but they are nice rims.
thats a nice colour too - the SC looks good in that
-
I'm not seeing pics.
POST THE PICS!!!
:D
