  1. thats the high octone stuff isnt it?

100RON (but we have different RON's between UK and US).

Its available in Europe, but not the UK.

Strange its on sale - I'm expecting to see it in the UK at a premium price (which would probably make you guys throw up :D )

  2. are you viewing the posts in outline mode?

just below the "New Poll" / New Post" it says

    Outline · [ Standard ] · Linear+

Standard is the normal view - sounds like you are using outline mode

  3. Matthew,

Do you have more info on the TTE kit?  I know of it but I have not looked to see how available it is, how much it cost, power numbers the SC generates, and owner feedback on use and reliability.

    I dont mate :blushing:

and unfortunately Dave, who had the SC on his 430, does not frequent the UK boards at all any more, as he now drives a TVR (the Sagaris too - mmmmmmm).

It will be very relaible, as all TTE stuff is.

The TTE SC for the UK IS200 gives about a third more power.

One of our members is pretty well connected at TTE - I can ask him to pop into this thread if you like?

Will be good few days though, as he is offline at the moment moving house (from Germany to the UK)

  4. over in the UK - TTE do a supercharger kit for the GS430 - one of our members had it fitted (before he sold the car for a TVR).

We have problems with getting TC / SC kits from the US - the LHD / RHD thing causes problems with fouling on various bits.

but - if you are gonna do a lot of custom work anyway - may be worth looking into (although I suspect the exchange rate would make it very expensive) :(

  5. isnt the standard grille chrome?

cant you remove it - and have a chrome grill that way?

Matt, the trim is chrome, however the slats are not. I think some Lexus models had a black grill and underneath was chrome <_<

thats what I meant - I thought the MKII standard grill had chrome slats, and was painted black over the chrome.

you remove the paint - chrome grill B)

  6. A HA!  On the window.  For some reason, I thought it was on the rear end/trunk lid somethere.

you can get them for the back - but they are bit too much for me - not really into stickers on the car

the lil ones in the rear quarters are ok.

  7. Very shiny.  Nice! :)

    What do I think?  I think you need a drop. ;) :D

    :chairshot: :chairshot:

tell me about it mate :blushing:

they dont even look like 18's in those pics.

plans are in place - will be on coilovers soon, with a pleasant drop.

and then maybe that wheel arch gap will stop haunting my dreams :lol:

BTW - I don't see that sports logo in the rear that you mentioned.

I'll get a pic specifically of the rear quarter window for you mate ;)

you see the one on the front lip?

The Internal Revenue Service has certified the 2006 model year Lexus Rx 400h for a clean-burning fuel deduction. This certification means that taxpayers who purchase a new Rx 400h during calendar year 2005 may claim a tax deduction of up to $2,000 on Form 1040.

Federal law allows individuals to claim a deduction for the incremental cost of buying a motor vehicle that is propelled by a clean-burning fuel or is a certified hybrid.

Under the Working Families Relief Act of 2004, the clean-burning fuel deduction is limited to up to $2,000 for certified vehicles first put into service in 2005 and $500 for vehicles placed in service in 2006. Currently, no tax deduction will be allowed by the IRS after 2006.

This is a one-time deduction is for purchasers only and must be taken in the year the vehicle is put into service. The IRS does not allow the deduction for lessees.

Other hybrids qualified for the federal deduction are:

        *

Ford Escape Hybrid — Model Year 2005

        *

Toyota Prius — Model Years 2001 through 2005

        *

Honda Insight — Model Years 2000 through 2005

        *

Honda Civic Hybrid — Model Years 2003 and 2005

        *

Honda Accord Hybrid — Model Year 2005

Many states offer additional tax incentives for hybrid vehicles, and buyers should check for specific information regarding possible state tax incentives.
