The thing i hate is that it took so long, one of the weeks i was there on spring break and couldnt drive it. forgot to add that part

I got a 93 GS300 for my 16th bday cuz i just like the pimpness of it, the things pearle white and in damn nice condition. ive put 60,000 miles on it in the past few years. i can only get it up to about 130 but its still just a nice car to drive around on a cool summers night. but my dad wanted to avoid the $1100 tuneup lexus said i need. so he got it done for 250 by his friend who used to work at lexus. i got the timing belt done, tranny flush, water pump changed, all the belts and hoses changed. it took 2 weeks, yea a LONG time. but im away at college and didnt mind. but now the radiator leaks cuz its old. can you guys think of anything else i need done that might go out soon?

O ok, if I do get an HID kit it wont be until the summer. Plus I don't have the money to do both subs and hids. so i'd have to decide which one is better. and how much does a new cover to my right foglight cost?

Are they really bright, like enough to where i wouldnt really need to use high beams in some cases on a dark road?

You know those PIAA or whatever super white bulbs that i can just plug in, do those work pretty well. Because I was thinking of putting those into my fogs and low beams instead of paying 200+ for an HID kit. Does that sound reasonable? Also my right fog light lense is cracked and i have a lil bit of fog in the right headlight. How can I fix those lil problems?

Hey my friend has a 2004 IS300 and we drive it back and forth between Lexington,KY and Memphis, TN a lot. Just normal highway driving, nothing too bad for it. I love that car and wanna sell my 93 GS300 for it, so im gonna have to work a lil bit to pay the difference. But what if i bought a completley stock 2001 IS300 with about 100,000 miles on it. And I drive it and it's still like new, have it checked out and it looks nice. Would that be a good smart thing to do?

Hey Turbo can you take some pics of ur HIDs at night so i can see what it looks like, maybe even a video of them warmin up?

I dont have any idea what im doing, whatever i buy im gonna have my friend put it in because he works with cars. but whats up with people just putting headlights from other cars in theirs, for example dropping RX330 headlights and the parts that go with it into their old car? help point me in the right direction, which ones better. just gettin really nice new bulbs or an actual HID kit. some people say the nice bulbs look almost identical to the real HID.

Because the parking brake doesnt work at all, i push in the pedal and nothing happens.

Where's that cable at.

Should I just buy really nice cool lookin bulbs, or spend a whole bunch on an HID kit. If i wanted just the bulbs, can you point me to a certain type. and if i want the kit, what all do i need to buy, can you recommend a nice kit for me. thanks

i bought my 93 GS with a parking brake that didnt work. how do i check that and see whats wrong?

if i wanted Xenons on my 93 GS, should i buy some really nice xenon lookin bulbs, or get a full kit which would cost a lot more. and if i just got the bulbs, would they do the HID warmup. like change from really blue to more whitish blue as they warmed up a few seconds. plus my right fog light is out, how easy is it to replace that light?

When i get the kit, will the lights move. Cuz i drive an IS300 sometimes and when you crank the car the lights aim up then aim down, then center. Can i get a kit that does that for a 93?

If i want to get an HID kit for my 93 GS, what K kit should i get. like 6000k?

I got a 93 GS and the little ignition keyring light isn't as bright as I think it should be. If it needs to be replaced, is that something i can do myself, and how much is the bulb for that?

well my horn honks when i unlock it. id rather it be silent instead of that, is it possible to have someone get rid of the horn?

I got a 93 GS and the steering wheel moves and all that, and the lil motor in it sounds kinda loud compared to my friends car who has the same year car. Is there a way to make it quieter?

I dont think this is possible on a Lexus, but my brother had a Ford Contour SVT and was able to re-wire his sunroof to make it one touch, does anyone have a diagram of the 93 GS300 sunroof wiring. Also is it possible to buy that BEEP tone that the newer Lexus makes when you lock and unlock the door?
