  1. Steve, Thanks for all the information. I have had my black IS350 for 2 1/2 months and love it. I am a newbie to detailing, but I have been diligent with a weekly wash. I bought good products; Meguiars Gold wash, Stoner's Invisible Glass, 303 for the interior, Lexol for the leather, good MF mitt and LOTs of MF towels etc... Someone (might have been you) recommended the California Drying blade - makes drying the car SO much easier. I also have been using a Meguiars Detailing spray. The cars looks awesome - I get compliments regularly on its shine. Thanks to this forum and autopia, I have OCD about my keeping my car looking great. I noticed some micro-swirls here and there (I guess I was sometimes using a circular motion when washing) and then...my godson put a fine scratch in the door! So, I just bought the UDM with some additional pads, but I want your thoughts about a product I bought to use with it and have a few more questions: 1) I bought an AIO - Poorboy's Polish with Sealant to use with Natty's Blue. Any experience with PB PwS? 2) Do I need anything else? And is it really necessary to separately do the 1) polish 2) seal and then 3) wax, or is the AIO and then wax OK? 3) Would I only want to use the AIO once, let's say, every 3 months since it is abrasive? 4) I am still a little unclear when and how often I would clay (haven't done it yet)? 5) Lastly, can you recommend a hybrid wax, just in case the Natty's doesn't last long enough? Thanks again for all of your posts!
  2. Where is the press release? I think many are dying to know what is new for '08. additional coin holder? i can't find the first one! where is it?
  3. i really like my is350. black, tan interior; nice chrome wheels; fully loaded - more gadgets than I will ever use. but I can't seem to find a place to put change (coins). geez, you think Lexus could have installed one somewhere? i have to assume there is no secret compartment that i can't find and that is not mentioned in the manual. what do all of you do with change in your car?
  4. i have the same rims. Where did you buy your Lexus? Live in Redondo, bought at Longo.
  5. question...is the active steering still on when you are in S-mode? Just bought an 07 is350 - and the handling feels a little squishy in automatic. thanks.
  6. OMFG!!! Well,... at least you have a car that very few people have over there. I just moved back from Paris to LA and bought a 2007 is350 fully loaded (luxury w/Mark Levinson, 18" wheels with pimpy chrome rims) :whistles: for 42k USD. You are a brave man. Enjoy your Lexus.
