  1. 1978 Fiat 128 3P 1.3 liters and 61 hp. The electric radiator fan used to run after the car shut down, would drain the battery so it would not start. I just kept the neg battery cable clamp a little loose. I'd park the car, pop the hood, slip the clamp off the battery. Then slip it back on to start and go.
  2. Have a 93 LS400 with 84K miles, just bought last month. When stopping or starting up, or accelerating/braking, I can feel the right side of the driver seat bottom move back and forth slighty, and it makes a popping noise when it moves. Any ideas? Hope this is not a repeat topic, I did a search, lot of seat threads, but nothing seems to cover this problem. Thanks much.
  3. Hello, I just bought my 2nd Lexus. Previously had a 92 ES bought new and sold in 2004. Just bought a 93 LS400 with 84K original miles (from my parents - so I know the car history). Feels good to be driving a Lexus again. Got the "sticky" tach/speedo needles, but other than that all is good.
  4. 1990 Ford Aerostar. Dumped it after 22K miles. New transmission, leaking AC system, seized AC compressor, constant stalls and CEL, oil leaks. Complete POS. As bad as the car was, dealer service was even worse (tried 3).
