Hello Friends, Does anyone have pics or discription of how to change air filter? I just got a K&N filter and want to see if MPG changes. on 6/4/07 I'm having the tranny flushed and maybe the timing belt changed. the car has 46,000 miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner and don't know how the other owner took care of it. thanks in advance Carmine

Can you guys clear my head as well? I got a 03 LS430 ultra -- black w/ white interior, 40K miles for $39,000 they said the 45k work was done and it's a CPO. I'm doing a tranny flush $200 in the morning and think I'll do the timing belt for $450 Carmine

I have a 2003 LS430 ultra got it w/ 40K it now has 45K since 3/20/07 ( goodyear assurance 225/55/17 ) It rides like my 2007 camry LE. I drove the LS460 5/23/07 it feels the exact same as my 2003 LS430. I love the newness but the ride and seating is the same ( my leather is better ) I feel every shift from 1st -- 6th. the sound system is the same. I still hear wind noise @ 50 & 75 It has bridgestone tires, I went into a parking lot and did a donut @ 20mph, almost lost it. Park assist is a joke, you still have to break then adjust. It also puts car 8" from curb 5X. The dealer wanted to only give me $28.5K for mine then wanted $39k more out the door hoover.gif censored.gif I'll wait for my lotto winnings and get the 2010 that hovers over groung stay well all, B careful Carmine

Hello friends, I have a 2003 LS430 ultra w/ 45K I have put 4000 miles on it so far ( bought used last month w/ 41K ) I have goodyear assurance 225/55/17 ( should be dunlop ) I have tried the hight, sport, vsc, power buttons in every matchup. The car rides exactly the same in all positions. The dealer says all is working. Can anyone please explain the positions, I have read the manual but not enough info. My friend's 95 ls400 150K rides on air. Mine still rides like a camry

I have a black LS430 ul.... killing me to see all the chips on the hood. got the car used 40K someone said I can get a wax w/ the color black to cover it up. others say no such thing or pointless to even try. I don't want to have it painted to experience the same in a week. ~carmine

hello again.... the GM of the lexus shop called me Saturday ( cause I called the salesman at his home around 11pm, asked me how in the world I got his #.... friends ) the GM said to bring in the car and he will put new goodyear assurance on the rear and give me back the $150 I paid for a valet key. thanks again ps. why is the front of my 2003 LS430 ultra look higher in the front than the rear?

Hello again, well, they refused to give me new tires on rear. I'm going to order them from tirerack.com http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp...p;x=63&y=15 they did the alingment, still pulls a bit. they changed sub, i'm afraid to turn up the sound refused to give me another key. they will charge me for all other stuff I want. don't know if I'm going to keep the car. when I get the title I may dump it or spend the $1000 and keep it till it explodes thanks again for reading stay well ~Carmine

I too have a blown sub on the back deck. I'm bringing car in 3/28 for warr work. Hello new friends and extended Lexus family. I finally obtained a black 2003 LS430 ultra. Got it for $35k out the door but traded a 2007 camry 6cyl 12K mi. I had to give $15k on my card. Ok.. the test run was fine ( my cuz has 1995 ls400 - smoother ) I got it 3/20/07 15:35. super clean, 41K mi, little chips no big deal. I took car from dealer 4hrs after sale and once on the freeway, car pulls right. lane shift in .10 mi. they put new goodyear assurance 225/55/17 on the front but looking at the dot # of the rear tires ( goodyear eagle LS ) left side dot 3203 - right side dot 1701 * 17 = week of year 01 = year tires made * Car is C.P.O. so I want new tires on rear and other stuff done. I want an alignment rear speakers somewhere blown GPS from 2003 all exit # wrong. $ 199 DVD on ebay only gave me ONE (1) key ( push button thing ) I did a carfax -- clear do you think dealer will give me new rear tires ? also I think this should be done: coolant flush fuel filter replace transmission flush drive belt replace ( not timing ) It took me 30 years to save for this. I always wanted the 1992 LS400 since 1998 but the 1000's of pictures I've seen and cars driving by I just keep dreaming. Hope you all enjoy your toy and I get to also.
