Just got back after 8 months and realized it's time for me and my baby to part ways. I tried to unload it briefly before I left but ran out of time. Here is the scoop one owner car (my brother and I ) Pearl White 94 LS 400 Anniversary Edition. All Synthetic all the time , 215k starts and runs like a champ. Timing belt has been changed twice in it's life once at 95k and once at 200k and within the past 3 years new steering rack, alternator, battery, plugs and wires and a host of other stuff. I've been obsessed with this car for some time and can spend hours telling you about it. Suffers from common problems like drivers door handle is cracked ( I have a spare just needs paint and install), gauges don't light until warm, and gas gauge is whacked but still light still works. electric antenna doesn't work, small tear in passenger seat from where the original car phone rubbed otherwise interior is nice with no cracks, drivers seat belt re-tracks very slowly, hi pressure ps hose leaks just a tad but that is about it all well known problems with easy fixes if you look around here and LexLS. Today when I got it going and took it out fora 70mph ride down rt 50 with the sunroof open as I wondered why my wife insists I get rid of this thing I noticed the tilt steering, radio and interior lights don't work. apparent;y this is common and hope to fix tomorrow by messing with the circuit breakers as mentioned in one of the top threads in the 1st gen forum. Lastly the body is not perfect but hardly tortured and I have both photo and a video I can email you but all stuff that can be easily fixed...There is one good ding by rear passenger door I planned to have fixed when they paint the door handle. I'm headed back out of town on Sunday for a week but if you are interested I'll sell it for 2k first come first serve. No negotiations. I listed on craigslist for $2500 yesterday so hope to sell tomorrow or the week of the 1st.

exact same problem here, just got back after almost a year and battery was dead so I charged it up and put it on Craigslist only to find out the Tilt, Interior Lights and Radio are not working. I really want those CD's out of the changer too. I was aware of the dash lights and gas gauge problem but this is driving me nuts. Any help is appreciated, I tried resetting the circuit breakers but they were not tripped. any other bright ideas? thanks

Wondering if offering a car for sale is okay here. Posted my 94 LS Anniversary w/ 210k on Craigslist today Very reasonable price but not sure people know what hey are looking at. Some of the known issues still exist and some have been taken care of over the years. I'm the original owner (my brother actually) but know the entire history of the car. If anyone is interested or this belongs somewhere please please let me know .. lI have a ton more photos and will talk with you about this car for hours if you can stand it!

I'm thinking 2k is a fair price but who knows.. As I said I've had this car a long long time and always took great care of it. It's a 94 Anniversary Gold Edition with the Metallic White paint. Has a few dings but really solid. Never driven in the snow or in any accidents...

I'm thinking about parting out my 94 which had tan leather, how much for the pair and where do you live?

Always said I'd drive it until it dies but the truth is I needed a new vehicle. I'd really hate to drop this at the dealer or have someone who doesn't know anything about it. I'm offering it for sale here (hope you don't mind) to anyone in the MD/DC/VA area who can come get it in the next week. I'll give you the whole history which isn't much other than garage kept all it's life, new timing belt 20k ago. new steering rack 2 years ago and recently the PS pump is leaking a bit. Everything works so if interested let me know. My mechanic says to part it out but I can bring myself to do it! I'll try to post some pics later..

My AC on the passenger side blows cold as normal and the vents on the drivers side are warm. AC diag shows everything as normal (00). Any idea about flaps, vacuum or anything that could possibly help is appreciated. If I hada better idea of how the system works it would help me troubleshoot... Thank you 94 LS 400 208,000mi

so I'm having the same issue warm left cold right vents , diagnostic says #21 Solar sensor, anyone ever replace? Thanks

<bump> interesting ,no guesses on this. Could it be a vacuum leak somewhere or that mystery cable pictured above. Any help is appreciated. the 2 vent onthe left side of the car don't blow cold but the 2 on the right do?

I went and checked the cabin air filters which I replaced last year and they are fine. While investigating I found this wire unplugged and couldn't see where it goes,could this be the problem? Can anyone identify it ?

Recently I was thinking my A/C system was failing because the air did not seem as cold as it has always been. The again it's been hot here recently. Yesterday I had passenger and mentioned I needed to get the A/C checked and they noticed the vents on their side were blowing very cold. After investigating it's obvious the vents on the right side of the cabin are cold as normal. Even the two in the center of the dash, the one on the right is cold as usual while the drivers side is mild. Any ideas or specific help is appreciated, thanks in advance...

I ran some tests last year and here is what happened. The first few tanks there was no real noticeable difference. I was a bit cautious and sometimes topped off with Ultra but for the most part no problem. Then mileage started to drop off about 2-3 mpg and the pinging started if I used off brand gas. I went ahead and ran it all the way down and filled with Sunoco 94 octane and it was like driving a new car. The throttle response was noticeable and I haven't used anything less than mid grade since. I really don't think the savings are worth it but it just my 2 cents (literally).. hope this helps
