  1. Hi, I downloaded the 93 LX 300 Manuel but cannot seem to unzip it. The PDF files show up when I open the compressed folder but I can't open them in Acrobat 6.0. It sayes it doesn't recognize the compression method. Do I need winzip or some other unzip software. I can't get winxp decompression to do it. Do you know what kind of compression it is? Thanks
  2. I just had a timing belt at 100K miles. I would highly recommend a water pump change as well at the time because it is so easy to do when you do the timing belt. It was only about $45 in labor extra plus the cost of the pump. Total was $770 for everything including new spark plugs and wires. Don't wait do it once it gets to 90K because if it breaks you can kiss that car go bye.
  3. I am 56 and love my 95 Es300. It attracts chics.
  4. Hi folks My 300 is doing great since its new timeing belt and water pump transplant. A tune up did it wonders and it looks great. I have attempted to install a Clarion 6 CD changer with a FM modulator. The problem is I cannot find the antenna, at least any wire I recognize as an antenna. Some one said the amp is under the passenger seat which is absolutely true but I don't see an antenna there either. I took the radio out, no easy task and discovered that the antenna is either very different from what I have seen or connects some where else. There is what looks like a coaxial cable connection coming off the antenna in the trunk. Is it possible they have made it easy for me and that is the connection. Has any one ever installed an after market CD player and where the heck does the mod hook up to. Thanks to any one who can help. I may have to go to professional which means I have to admit I am defeated........bummer.
