  1. Thanks for the advice. You're knowledge on this subject is greatly appreciated. If a volt meter cannot tell me what the problem is or if im just pullin too much power from the alternator then my only other option is a 700$ alternator. So hopefully the voltmeter will work!!!! Thanks, Chris
  2. skperformance, thanks for the post. i was actually already told that replacing the alternator wires would help. I heard the stock alternator wires are only 10 gauge and i plan on replacing them with 4 gauge. Also i am thinking about gettin an optima yellow top battery so my problem will hopefully be solved. Are you saying that i should replace my pulley on the stock alternator? How could that help?
  3. Would anybody happen to know how many amps the stock alternator puts out or how many it can spare for other aftermarket accessories such as car audio and new headlights?
  4. Thats a solid deck. Pioneer makes decent head units. Does anybody have any suggestions or comments on what to do for power in my es? Does anybody else who has subwoofers and amps have trouble with power? Much appreciation, Chris
  5. Its too late now anyways.... All the stuff has been bought. Wires are already brought through from the alpine 9807 deck to the trunk. All i need now is the bass.
  6. Hey, I have a 95 ES300 and I have recently purchased two Audiobahn Alum12x's to put in my trunk. I also bought two Soundstream Rubicon 501/ Class A\B amplifiers to run these subs off of. The only problem is that I am having trouble powering all of this. Does anybody have any suggestions. I've thought about selling my amps and getting a JBL bp1200.1 to run them both and since that is a Class D amp and is more efficient I am thinking that this will hopefully solve my problem. Do you think I may need a new alternator? maybe an Optima Yellow top battery? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! <_<
