It does shut off (although a warning chime would be nice), I usually don't keep mine on auto. I'm pretty sure it happens as soon as you remove the key. If you leave the key in the ignition, they'll stay on-I learned from 1st hand experience Another item I'd like to see is a mist function for the wipers.

From what I've read about E85, only vehicles currently being manufactured by General Motors are capable of running on E85 @ the current time.

You don't say what MY you have. I have an 06 & the OM states premium, but regular can be used if premium is not available. When I was doing research prior to buying the vehicle, using the Lexus.com website, the vehicle comparison feature was powered by edmunds.com & it stated that the vehicle (GX) used regular unleaded. Btw, the sticker inside the fuel door of my 06 states Premium.

Anyone else have any lease problems with LFS/TFS? I leased an 06 GX470 @ the end of February 06 & received my first lease statement last Tuesday. They told me I was l mos in arrears & whacked me with a $48.00+ late fee. I called to straighten things out, & hopefully did & the very next day I got a lease statement from Toyota Financial Services for a different amount & as I soon found out, for a different vehicle. When I called on that one, they told me I was not the account holder, but could not explain as to why I received the statement for someone elses account. I've been buying/leasing vehicles for 30 years & have never had an experience like this right off the bat.

I traded an 04 Land Rover Discovery for my 06 GX470 & it's as off road capable as the LR. Mud season has set in up in Maine already & I had to negotiate quite a muddy road getting in to my place this past saturday. 4 wheel high & low gear was all that was needed. Actually,the low gear on the GX is better than the Disco. The GX is a terrific vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!
