06 Tonneau Cover for GX470 I was told by the dealer today that I can replace the side panels in the rear (about $480) which will accomodate the hardware for the cover itself (about $850). This is insane! I didn't want the rear seats for starters but the dealer told me that he has NEVER seen a GX without the rear seats come in. So forced to buy the seats through the package which will sit in my garage for as long as I have the car. I can't believe that any SUV wouldn't have a way to cover up packages in the back - much less a luxury SUV from Lexus! I'm upset having spent a couple grand on the seats I didn't want - the Tonneau is excluded from the car. I am going to complain to Lexus corporate. This is really crazy. I think the only alternative is dark window tint and a sheet! Isn't spending close $1400 plus labor insane for a shade that covers the cargo area? Anyone see of anything after market? I can't find a thing!

06 GX470 - Has anyone tried the ES kit on an 06?? It would be nice to know if it works before trial and error. I picked up an 06 GX yesterday - called the parts department today who said that there is NO way to integrate Sirius OR XM into the factory stereo. I have integrated Sirius in my Bimmer and LOVE it!

I'm wondering if you have heard a response privately from anyone? Same issue here. I took deliverly last night. Dealer told me you can't even GET a car without the third seat. I called dealership today to "buy" the cargo cover and they told me about $1600. to install one. What crap! The parts guy recommended I look online for an aftermarket solution. I didnt want the third seat option for starters - paid dearly for it - and now another $1600. Not nice! LAWOOF@aol.com
