  1. Having a problem with in-progress calls being disconnected when another call comes in. Is there a way to fix this? It's a rather distrubing feature for those of us that conduct business on the phone. Thanks for help in advance.
  2. Does this override the phone or just allow you to enter in NAV commands while in motion? I tried this but it didn't aid anything for the phone.
  3. let me know what you find out. I'm thinking of doing over the weekend. It look fairly simple. I just hate cutting on a $50K car, know what i mean. you can email me at moss@carolina.rr.com ← soldering is preferred because it makes for a better connection. For me it was easy because ive got one of those Cold Heat Soldering thingamajiggies, but twist and capping shoulnd't be a problem. as far as grounding goes. there aren't many options. you can loop through an opening or drill into your frame somehwere. i dont really see why a ground is necessary though. the yellow wire that is cut is the one that is grounded, so what was the original purpose of cutting that wire? why not just leave it intact? perhaps its a factory ground? my friend just got hired at Toyota, and since the navigation is virtually identical to the Prius, he's gonna fish around when he gets the chance and let me know. i'll keep you guys posted. i have a feeling leaving the yellow wire intact will take away the need for grounding as well as save a little bit of time. ← I agree, I really don' t see the need to RE-GROUND. Let me know what you find out. I may leave it for simplisity and see what happens.

  5. OK, thanks for the info guys. Just a couple of dumb questions. When connecting(rerouting) the Purple VSS(in) to Pink VSS(out) you mention to solder these connections. Would simply capping work fine? Also, when grounding the monitor side yellow #23, is it ok to just connect to an existing screw? I haven't looked inside yet so don't know what all the grounding options are. Thanks for your help.
  6. I'm also interested in anyone in Charlotte, otherwise I'm doing surgury myself :D
  7. If your car is like my 05 RX the 1-touch feature half way blanks out when the car is moving. Once stopped, all the information is visible again. You can still use the 1-touch to call out however while moving. I wonder if this is what you're talking about? ← This seems to be the case. Do you know of any way around this lovely feature? Thanks for your response and any insight to a workaround.
  8. anyone had any issues or success' with blackberry 7100 connectivity? I can connect but the 1-touch feature keeps going in and out. I have an 06 GS300. It's kinda driving me nutty.
  9. Anyone have any recommendations on fine tuning the GS300 bluetooth connections with blackberrys. Specifically the 7100g model? Thanks, Mike
