Hey guys. I'm getting ready to do a new paint job on my '93 windom. I'm adding a rear spoiler and I'm thinking about getting JDM eyelids to complete my new look. Does anyone know where i can get a pair??

Did you drive all of them in the same transmission mode it is: power vs normal or manual??

I've realised that nobody on this site has mentioned problems with their steering rack bushing (driver's side). But I had to get mine replaced recently and my symptoms were a similar sliding at first then it got worse.... much worse!!!

Is there any play in the steering wheel when the car is at a stand still.

I've been looking around for performance enhancers and came across a module called venom 400. It fits the 93 v6 camry which is the 3vz-fe like my windom(correct me if I'm wrong please).
Does any one out there know exactly what they do? Has anybody every tried one? Will I be wasting hard earned money if I bought one??

the silencer ia big black plastic bottle found in the fender well on the air intake side of the engine. I removed mine as well.
There was only a sound improvement

I've seen a header system including "y" pipe and 3" catback piping for the 1mzfe engines. My Windom however is a '93 (3vzfe) Does any body out there know if the headers for the 1mzfe can bolt on to a 3vzfe engine.
I know the blocks are different but are the heads very diferent too?

They seem to be standard on all windoms I've seen in St. Kitts. They only go bad if you close them manually.

Or u could search for a thread on baking them to remove the lenses clean and polish them and reseal with silicone or urethane sealants.

My mechanic has told me that this could be due loose strut mounts. After I got it worked on though they realised it was the struts themselves that were bad.

I agree with you 100%. I've been looking ever since I bought mine 8 months ago. The closeset i got was a header system with or without a "y pipe" but thats just for the 1mz-fe engines.
I'm thinking about doing a homemade cai (with a realiable cone filter) and ignition upgrades.
Any thoughts on this...anyone??

Would it be cheaper to use inserts if the struts are servicable? Or has anyone found them to be a waste of time and money?

I've checked the faqs and did keyword searches but found no answers. So i did it myself. Just pull it towards you. It has two clips on each side (lower). It very hard though.
