I don't think they make LED bulbs that size, but I can check on that for you. The lights originally look like the 95-97 in the first picture. We took out the reflector ourselves that's why it has the diamond cut look. If you want the lights with the reflectors still intact we can probably get you those for $50 less than the ones shown above.

Actually, you wouldn't be able to modify those yourself. There's a company in Japan that clears them out with some sort of laser system but that cost about $1000 not including shipping. I've seen a member on the CL forums paint his all red. It actually looks pretty nice.

We've actually taken the 95 tail lights and converted them to fit onto our 99. What we did was remove the lens cover for the outer pieces and siliconed them onto our OEM housing: The inner pieces we kept stock so the color will be slighty different but atleast the amber piece is removed.

These eyelids may not look nice on every SC. you may need an aggresive looking vehicles in order for these to look nice. Our bomex SC has an aggresive look so the eyelids kind of match (IMO)

He specifically asked for opinions. My opinion is that IT IS A JOKE! What no bucket of eye shadow? Where are the eye lashes? All this kind of stuff was done in the 60's for the VW Bug. These vehicles originated in Japan so we follow their examples when modifying our own. Most of the parts available for Lexus is from Japan also. We've put this thread up on the SC and IS sections already so just wanted to know what all the GS guys think about these:

I'm not sure how the signal lights/reverse lights are going to work yet, but most likely they'll be the original bulb sizes. We will have a prototype within 2 months for fitment and quality. If everything goes accordingly, we'll be releasing these in about 4 months.

We have asked for the bottom Clear part to be produced Crystal Clear. Here's an example on some E36 tail lights. http://www.procarparts.com/products/BM9236-3691TLX.JPG. But, the ones we will have produced will have the red on top and clear on the bottom. They'll also have LED.

We are currently in the process of producing aftermarket tail lights for the 2nd Gen GS. We have decided that red/clear LED lighting will be the best way to go. These lights will debut at around 300-400 USD. The lights are not OEM, but are made by an aftermarket manufacturer that produces OEM lighting components for several different OEM companies. The LED bulbs are very high quality and has a very low burn out rate. In such cases, a 90 days warranty will be offered. A prototype should be release within 6-9 weeks and if everything goes accordingly, the lights will be released for sale in 12-16 weeks. All opinions would be appreciated.

We just go these pieces in last week. They're direct replicas of the Toyota Japan JDM wind deflectors. These pieces are very durable, made of hard plastic. They are held on by 3m adhesive and is easy to install. Here's some pictures:

It does say Toyota on it, but I don't think it is made by Toyota.
