this is sooooo damn confusing and i swear i won't fix this *BLEEP*. got opened all door panels by my audio friends, and they tested its the crossover box that seperate the hi/low. however, they didn't tested the amp though, so it could be still true its the amp, but they highly don't think so, also, speakers(drivers) itself won't die together with other drivers, and even they die, they would still make sound. however, in our case, our drivers are completely black out. Is this make sense?

i think new suspension and wheels are the 2 big thing our cars needed. our cars are getting old... the stock suspension are so numby and sway, so why not replace the spring/shox first? and like akewlguy's car, a set of wheel makes so much differenence... to be honest with you, except you do a engine swap, there is no way our car will go much faster than lower your car with some chasis enhancement.

Yeah... its actually larger than a LS. But Crown has it own department in Toyota Headquarter... They were the one have history and Lexus don't =)

What are they gonna do with CROWN? i guess Crown are going to be the luxery side and Lexus gonna be the sport side... I personally like Crown cars more... The new Avalon we have here are made to beat Lexus Quality and Craftmanship. Crown wants to tell the world CROWN is the original luxery brand of Toyota. So the new Avalon is really an extra build car, that car last as long or longer than a Lexus. They were aimed to beat their own-firm department - Lexus. The new Avalon is really a bargain if you ask me... Same size like a GS, but sells cheaper than the ES330. Too bad its not a RWD...

Our Mercedes Club fellow's Maybach... I think he is the boss/ceo of the biggest TV station inCanada. I too, wouldn't buy a car that much, i wouldn't even consider cars over $100,000 USD now. It just simpily don't worth it. a LS or a S Klass is plain too good, and its got everything already. But it will be another story for those who can afford a $300K car. Nothing meant anything to them already, and they get those car almost FREE. Their company write them off, or pay for them, or its just part of their earnings, so why not have one. And those boss requires a car to represent their highness, they NEED that to show people. What Lexus missing is, Uniqueness i guess... Those cars are a timeless piece, its like a piece of art, their design and engineer are simply the best. hehe, not to be an smart@$$, but using Rolex is not too appropriate... Rolex is like Mercedes, and if you know HIFI, its like B&W. These 3 companies are like a "marke" to their own industry, they have entry modesl from to very high end models. Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley, RR, Bugatti...etc Brands are more like GP, Piaget, IWC... etc watch companies. They all share some simliarities like: Low Volumn Sales, Rare, Timeless, Collectible, Best Designation, SUPER EXPENSIVE, and most people can't afford them

BMW has no where as good as Mercedes in quality and craftmanship... Mercedes uses much finer metals and interior parts. 55K USD can get you most of high end used car... I personally would take 911 with Tiptronic. It might be more realiable than, say the new S hehe

dunno if its too late to reply... But i'll get a Passat Wagon Tdi... its really a Audi A6 and with a Audi 140PS Tdi engine... fast car with good gas consumption. If its too expensive, get the Jetta Wagon *Made in Germany*. Subaru then if you want speed, but really, they are not too reliable compares with Honda/Toyota. A4 Wagon is pretty neat too...

dealer quoted $850 approx. + Tax, including parts and labour. Canadian Tyre only ask for $550 or something. But Will Canadian Tire people messdup our car is unknown :whistles:

exactly same problem as me do now. Do we have a Lexus mech here? he might know and have experience... How weird we all have the 93 model with Nakamichi... It won't be the speakers... speakers won't go out all of a sudden, even its broken, it will still have some kind of noise. I think its the preamp or the headunit... Wish we will get a definite answer here. Nakamichi should sound good... :whistles:

just spin all the buttons on the Nakamichi HU... still doesn't work... guess will need to bring it to dealer or audio shop to diagnosis... sha4000, please keep us posted on your case...

Mercedes Benz is not really that bad compares to BMW and English cars. They are even worse... had a 740iL before, and thats my last BMW. New engine needed at 110,000 KM only. and PHEW! my warrenty still have like 1000 km left. It cost more than $12,000 CAD for the engine swap, the engine was ordered from Germany. BMW stuff can't be fix, they all have to be replace the whole thing if they don't work, and they are very problematic, so do not get a BMW unless you really like them. Land Rover/Range Rover/Masrati same *BLEEP* :D Everytime you go for a oil change, there will be will likely a grand $ more of thing to fix, and it needs to be fix each time. The new BMW ain't any better... If you really like BMW, i suggest you to lease them like BMW suggest you to. Look at the Mini customer reviews... 10/10 !Removed! on their reliability and problems. I can't believe BMW group would use a cheapo Daimler Chrylser 1.6 Neon engine on a premium compact Copper... These days, really except Honda and Toyota are not messedup... Just my 2 cents... Hope i didn't offened anyone because if you speak that sharp on some other places, you'll be likely be flame by some jack@$$. :o
