  1. Nice ride Neo That first pic looks like something out of a brochure!! B) I think you just talked me into the Tein CS. :D
  2. Last weekend on 505 I got my gs400 up to 120. I wish I would have pushed it more because I don't know if I will ever get a stretch of road like that again where there were NO other cars around. :cries: :chairshot:
  3. No, I used the finest steel wool I could find at the store so it didn't scratch the sides.
  4. The stuff I used wasn't really all that strong. Even after letting it sit on the grill for 15 minutes the paint still didn't just wipe away. I had to scrub with the steel wool and work at some smaller areas to get it off. So I really didn't have to worry about it taking the paint off in areas I didn't want it to. I will try and get a closeup for you later today.
  5. Well I just got done with it about 30 minutes ago. It took me about 1 1/2 hours and it was easier than I thought. I ended up using some stuff called Citristrip.....it worked. B) I don't have a digital camera but here are some pics off my camera phone. I wish I had the patience to do a little bit more of it......maybe someday soon. :whistles: The first two pics are before and the last two are after....
  6. Interesting. I think I will have to give this a shot. But looking online for some gel paint remover I wasn't able to find anything. Is there a certain brand name I should be looking for? At least this way I can narrow my search or ask for something specific if I walk into a store. Thanks in advance
  7. "REGISTRATION OF RECOGNITION CODE 1. Open driver door, keep it open and in the unlocked position (all other doors should be closed) 2. Put original key in ignition and pull out 3. Lock and Unlock the doors 5 times (complete each lock/unlock cycle within 1 second and entire process in 40 seconds or less) 4. Close the door and open the door 5. Lock and Unlock the doors another 5 times (complete each lock/unlock cycle within 1 second and entire process in 40 seconds or less) 6. Put the new Master Key in the ignition, turn it to "on" and then off (with 1 second) and remove from the ignition. 7. Press and hold transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for at least 1.5 seconds, and then within 3 seconds; press any transmitter button for at least one second. 8. If within 3 seconds, door locks cycle one time, new transmitter code was accepted. If door locks cycle 2 times, new transmitter code was not accepted. If code was not accepted retry step 8 again." Thanks for this info! B) Just joined this week and found this while searching (it's what I was looking for) It helped me out a lot and just wanted to bump the thread so someone else could find the info that needs it. Thanks again....
