  4. What made you try bridgestones again ? Have you tried Sumitomos, Toyo's, Cooper, Continentals and the like ? Just looking for a decent set of tires that don't break the bank. I would rather buy 2 sets for $900.00 than 1 set of michelins for $650.00+. Thoughts ?

  13. It is to my understanding that any plug other than OEM can raise hell with these motors. I don't know if that is your problem but those plugs can't help.
  14. The grille isn't plastic on my car, it's made of pot metal. OK, I will look into it, I haven't looked that close. Had you thought of just taking the paint off and polishing it ?
  15. Thanks for the comment. You'll notice when you remove the grille (just six 8mm nuts) that there is a strip of plastic molding around it on 3 sides. It's attached with contact cement. I was able to peel it off carefully and save it. After the plating was done, I reglued the strip in place before remounting the grille to the hood. Lexucan, The grille is plastic, Is there a specialty shop that did the plating ?
  16. Very nice I also have a 93 es and was looking to do something with the front grille. I'll look into plating shops in my area. Again, VERY NICE UPGRADE ;)
  17. Considering a set of tires soon, I have always purchased michelins and I want to try a different mfg. No dunlops or bridgestone please, I have had bad luck with them in the past. Any suggestions ? I am currently looking at sumitomo htr+................ TIA.
