99.9% of all lexus headunits do not need a code. You probably don't need one. If my memory serves me it is the last 4 digits of the vin# or the last 4 digits of the key code.

This is not a joke, There is a wire in the trunk hinge that is shorting out. The insulation may be worn through. Lexus made this wire too short and causes all sorts of strange problems in the early ls400's. Search these forums and there is plenty of info on this subject.
