Yes, Regretfully so.............. The car was my father in-laws and he passed, 100% Beautiful LS400. So I am in charge of giving her a GOOD home. I hate to let this one go. :( The car is soooo Cherry one would have to see it to beleive it. He kept all of his cars like he kept his Cesnas twin props. I stand by this car with my life.

You need to do a fill while drain on that bad boy, Then fill it with t-4 toyota tranny fluid. To find the leak, Place a large piece of cardboard under the tranny overnight, Then you can tell where the leak is by looking at the spot and look directly above that "spot". Have you checked the fluid level ? yea the guys at the shop did a fill as they drained it and all the nasty dark oil came out till the nice pink oil was draining. i will do the cardboard trick tomorrow and the tranny fluid level seems to be normal its just the clunking noise that really bothers me, i hate taking this thing to the dealer they always find some bs to tel you that is wrong with it when it really isnt Yes, But t-3 with an additive is not the right way to go, You need to have t-4 fluid.These trannys love to be fed the right stuff. ;)

Here are the pix, Breaks my heart to see this cherry go.............................. :( :( :( My personal feelings on this LS is I would keep it for life, To the best of my knowlege every, EVERY maintenaince has been done. It hurts to type this.:cries: I wanted this car soooo bad, Even the stock sawtooth wheels were custom chromed, The michelins are new, etc...:cries: If you give it a good home I will sell it, If not forget it :cries::cries::cries: The car is located in Lake Havasu Arizona, Never even seen rain, Need I say more. Mods, Feel free to move this to the buy &sell and I will supply any and all details for the proper listing. This really breaks my heart, I mean REALLY. Whomever ends up with this LS is a VERY, VERY fortunate "Lexus Owner"
