The fuse descriptions are very cryptic, aren't they?

If there is no description in the Owners Manual I'd use the spare fuses and try the spares.  Go for the biggest one (30A green) first....

Finding the correct page in the OM is a challenge in itself. 🤢

Yes very cryptic. I guess I can just pull every fuse one by one to see if any are blown.

It looks like the method used on RX models in general includes these steps:

    • Turn off your vehicle and disconnect the battery. Doing this will help prevent electrical mishaps or electrocution.  This should not be necessary if replacing the bulb, only.
    • Open the trunk. This will allow you to access the trim paneling on your vehicle.
    • Remove trim lining. Using the small flat head screwdriver, pop out the plastic rivets holding your vehicle’s trim liners in place.
    • Remove tail light from the assembly. You can do this by pinching the connector and pulling out the bulbs of each tail light.

Thanks RX400h. I found a youtube video showing the process & got the job done yesterday.

Do not use the built-in navigation. It is crab.

Takes 10 times longer to enter address than google maps on phone.

Smartphone GPS is far more up to date.

    For free.

Where Lexus charge and arm and white of the eyes just to update it.

Thanks for the reply Lexus-CT. I don't need to worry on using the Lexus nav because there is not one in this SUV. I must use either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I would never have guessed a newer model Lexus to not be equipped with a nav system but here we are.

  4. Hi All

I am a proud new (to me) owner of a 2022 RX350 & am hoping to get some guidance on how to use google maps on the SUV screen. So here is my situation, I do not have a data plan on my cell phone. I do have Android Auto on my cell phone. I have downloaded some google maps using wifi onto my cell phone using the offline method. Has anyone here been able to sync their cellphone to the SUV screen & use the preloaded google maps for navigation? If yes would you please as best you can, give me step by step instructions on how you did this? I take possession on Monday & am hoping to get this done while sitting at the dealership parking lot. Thanks

  5. So here is what I found. I went to a site that has an archive of owners manuals & entered Lexus RX350 & as luck would have it they did have a manual. The only question is for what year the manual is for but I'm thinking for my issue the manual has not changed regardless of the year.

The RX350 does have two cruise control modes, one called "constant speed" mode & the second called "vehicle to vehicle distance control" mode. When you first turn the engine on the default mode will be the vehicle to vehicle distance control mode but it can easily switched to the constant speed mode by holding down for one second the cruise control button.

Three settings allow you to approach a leading vehicle by varying lengths before the adaptive cruise engages.  I use the shortest setting (lets me get closer to a leading vehicle before it starts to slow me down to that vehicle's speed), but if that car is going too slow, I just disengage the cruise until I pass it. There is no way to completely turn the adaptive portion off independently.  In moderate to heavy freeway traffic, I just keep the cruise control turned off.

Thanks for your reply Frank. I asked the same question on another Lexus site & 2 replies said the adaptive option can be turned off?

  7. Hi

I am looking to buy a used 2022 RX350 & have a question on the cruise control. I believe this SUV has adaptive cruise control (please correct if wrong) but can anyone tell me if there is an option to turn the adaptive option off so the cruise control works without the adaptive option? I use cruise control extensively but I can not stand the adaptive option while on a 4 lane highway & would never buy a vehicle that has only adaptive cruise control. Thanks

Straight forward job, One bolt to remove the sensor from the wheel hub, Follow the wire back to connector, Disconnect and reverse the procedure to install.

Thanks for your reply dcfish. Are all 4 sensors identical? I have been googling the issue & am having trouble finding my exact model (2004 Lexus ES330). It seems on some models the front & back sensors are very different looking.  Thanks

    1. Stop the vehicle and turn off the engine

Tire pressure reset process cannot be done while the vehicle is moving.

    2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

The tire placard located on the door panel

    3. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal

    4. Look for the TPMS reset button and press the button until the tire pressure indicator Blinks slowly three times. (It may be under the dash near the gas or brake pedal.)

    5. Wait for several minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position, to allow the system to record each tire’s pressure, then turn the engine off.

      Done!

    Thanks RX400h
