  1. I may have mislead you. The cable I was using worked fine using android auto & google maps for 8/9 months before I had any issues & it still will charge my cell when plugged into my laptop or wall receptacle. It for some reason just stopped working with android auto & google maps.
  2. Problem solved. I bought a new cable & it fixed the issue. The strange thing is the cable I have been using works to charge the cell when plugging the cable into my laptop & also when using the receptacle adapter to plug into the wall socket but stopped working in the car. Thanks for all replies.
  3. Thanks for your suggestions RX400h. Yes it is very frustrating for sure. I did an update & also turned off Adaptive Battery as you suggested. Because the constant notification only happens when using the USB port in the RX console but not when using the same cable & plugging the cell into my laptop or wall socket (using the adapter) I'm guessing the cable is not the issue but if the above 2 ideas do not help I will try another cable. Again thanks for your time.
  4. I have a Samsung Galaxy A02s cell. I have both android auto & google maps installed on my cell. I connect my cell to my car screen using the cars USB plug in the center consol. I then choose menu & then android auto option that is given on my car screen which then mirrors my cell screen with the google maps to the car screen. Once connected, the google map shows on the car screen. The problem I am running into is that my cell constantly (every 10 seconds or so) shows the battery charging notification with the amount of cell battery charge. Every time the notification comes to my cell, it shuts off the google maps on the car screen. Once the cell notification completes, the google map will again load on the car screen only to be shut off once again when my cell shows the battery notification. This notification is non stop which makes using the google map useless because the google map keeps shutting down only to reload again for a short few seconds until another battery notification comes. My cell battery is usually in the 95% or higher charged range so it not because of a low battery issue/warning. Is there a way to turn off the battery charging notification on my Galaxy A02s? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the video. My question is what milage (how many miles) is the reset set to on the RX350/2022? My Lexus ES350/2016 allowed me to set my own custom milage before I got a message.
  6. Hi, I just had my oil changed & want to reset the reminder. I found how to reset using a date but I would like to set the reminder using milage as the guide. Is that possible on my RX 350/2022? Thanks
  7. Well it was a good idea but I called & the answer was "look in your owner's manual". I told them that info is not in my owners manual & was then told to make a service appointment lol.
  8. Yes very cryptic. I guess I can just pull every fuse one by one to see if any are blown.
  9. As a follow-up I want to check the fuses but I cannot figure out which fuse it is. I added pics of the fuses & the diagram on the underside of the fuse box lid. Any help on choosing the right fuse to look for would be appreciated. Thanks
  10. Has anyone had an issue with their rear window defroster not working? If it is a DIY fix without taking it in under the warranty I would do it & could save that hassle of taking it to the dealer. Thanks
  11. Thanks RX400h. I found a youtube video showing the process & got the job done yesterday.
  12. Oh crap, sorry for that, I forgot to change car type. I changed cars in the last week to the RX350
  13. Thanks for your reply RX400H but they do not apply to the RX.
  14. Has anyone done a DIY replacement of a rear turn signal bulb? If so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
  15. My previous car was a 2016 Lexus ES350 & I know where you are coming from regarding their nav system.
  16. Thanks for the reply Lexus-CT. I don't need to worry on using the Lexus nav because there is not one in this SUV. I must use either Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I would never have guessed a newer model Lexus to not be equipped with a nav system but here we are.
  17. Thanks RX400h, I don't pick it up until Monday but I will go through your link & studdy.
  18. Hi All I am a proud new (to me) owner of a 2022 RX350 & am hoping to get some guidance on how to use google maps on the SUV screen. So here is my situation, I do not have a data plan on my cell phone. I do have Android Auto on my cell phone. I have downloaded some google maps using wifi onto my cell phone using the offline method. Has anyone here been able to sync their cellphone to the SUV screen & use the preloaded google maps for navigation? If yes would you please as best you can, give me step by step instructions on how you did this? I take possession on Monday & am hoping to get this done while sitting at the dealership parking lot. Thanks
  19. Thanks john, that is the same as the manual I read. I did interpret it wrong though. As you show, I need to push the cruise control lever forward for one second to activate the constant speed mode. I thought (wrongly) that to change the mode I needed to push the on/off button for one second.
  20. So here is what I found. I went to a site that has an archive of owners manuals & entered Lexus RX350 & as luck would have it they did have a manual. The only question is for what year the manual is for but I'm thinking for my issue the manual has not changed regardless of the year. The RX350 does have two cruise control modes, one called "constant speed" mode & the second called "vehicle to vehicle distance control" mode. When you first turn the engine on the default mode will be the vehicle to vehicle distance control mode but it can easily switched to the constant speed mode by holding down for one second the cruise control button.
  21. Thanks for the tip. Do you know the answer to my above question? Thanks
  22. Thanks for your reply Frank. I asked the same question on another Lexus site & 2 replies said the adaptive option can be turned off?
