FYI stay clear away from tintdude.com I tried to get help there on the tint issue and everbody flames. Also bad advise holy crap :chairshot:

I recently got my Rx300 front windows tinted, The tint is a close match to factory but the driver side windows has water marks and bubbles. The installer showed me the marks and told me that the bubble and marks would go away after about 2 weeks and to park in the sun. Is this forreal ? will these marks really go away after 2 weeks or was I fed a line of Bull!@#$.

My Rx300 is out of MFG Warrenty. My biggest concern is keeping the tranny in good condition. I tend to drive hard im not the boy racer type but I tend to drive 80 or 90. So long story short I looking for idea, mod or advise on what the best way to keep my tranny in good condition.

Since gas prices are extremely high. I put midgrade for now, nothing less and make sure that has a good octane rating. I just recently purchased a RX300, I think I got a good deal on it but Im not 100% sure. It gots, AWD, VHC, HID Lights, No Nav, Spoiler, 52000 miles and extra 3 year/36000 mile warrenty for $24000 (not including licenseing or tx ). Bad Deal or Steal ????

I was on ebay looking at some of the different 2001 Rx300's. I noticed that some 2001's had a full Nav System like on the newer RX330's. I dont think my rx300 has Nav capability but was wondering if there was a way to upgrade to a Nav unit ?

Congrads to you also My previous vehicle was a Ford Explorer EB and the manual stated 5000 miles but I tried to stay ahead of the game by changing it 3000 miles. I always used Regular Mobile 1 Oil but for some reason I thought Mobile 1 was optimal for Domestic Vehicles ??? I don’t know why I thought that That’s good news cause Mobile 1 is brand I trust. 1300000 on my Ford and no Oil Related Troubles. Have you tried Castrol or Valoline Synthetics ? Someone told me Castrol is better in Foreign Vehicles ???

Hello All, I recently purchased a Rx300, :D I was wondering when is the optimal time to change the oil ? I've read & heard a few different things but Im use to changing oil 3000 miles ???? Also What brands & Types do you perfer ? Synthetic or Regular ? Castrol or Mobile 1 ? New Proud Lexus Owner

Whats a inline external tranny filter ? I guess the real question im trying to find out is. What can I do to help prevent transmissions issue on a 2001 AWD RX300 ?

After reading through the forum I've read several segments about transmission failures on AWD RX300's. I came across a transmission cooler. It looks like a small radiator and has its own liquid reservoir. Has anybody tried one of these? ? Does anybody think this product would help prevent a transmission failure? ;) OMG the sound is extremly un-nerving, I thought I had a Flat Tire. Opening another window is easy solution but its a LEXUS, I thought these cars pefect :chairshot: I hope theres a better fix for the down the road

:cries: I own a 2001 RX300 When only one rear window is down a loud reverbrating noise pulses through out the SUV. If I roll down another window or open the sun roof the noise goes away. Has anybody else encountered this problem. If so how did you resolve it ?
