  8. Hello, With 167000, I hear little noise in front when i go over bump.I know for sure that is not Struts, mounts, lower arm control bushing, ball joints or stablizer bar bushing. Also I did check links, they are not broke. Is anybody know the life or how to check? Thanks,

  10. Hello, This is not lexus, but it's same car. and systems works as lexus. I have 99 Sienna. Two months ago, one of the front caliper was shot. I replace with new toyota caliper, both new rotor and front brake pads. When i drive 50-60 MPH and apply brakes no problem. But if i am driving 70-80 and push brake paddle steering vibrates. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance.

  13. Hello, Have you gotten a second opinion? ? ? ? ?
  14. Good you are okay. As long as car chases is okay, they (Insurance) will fix it. No problem Sorry to hear bad news.
  15. Thank you very much. I had the car towed at a family run repair shop (pretty reliable based on past experience) and the diagnostics was: The engine mounts are busted and the struts (all four) needs to be replaced. Apparantly, due to the busted engine mounts, the engine gets raised up durring acceleration and the drive shaft comes loose from the gear box!! Please advice if this is possible at all!! The total job of replacing the engine mounts, servicing the transmission and changing the struts plus towing will cost around $ 1300.00. Thanks for all your help. Best Regards, ← parts cost for your list ~$700+towing
  16. This is not a good news.....
  17. Hello, 1. Check brake fluid level.
  18. Hello, Who changed the last oil? May be he added 4 qts. when you on low marks it's telling you are 1 qts low. just check oil level every 1000 miles. Hope this helps.
  19. Hello, Welcome to Houston and Forum. This is not good news, and i'm sorry to hear this. When you were in Washington from 2001-2003, did you have any problems? How many miles did you use to drive per day? After you moved to Houston, how many miles are you driving now? Because I don't think that alternator, battery has anything to do with the numbers of miles you drive. I have a 2001 Volkswagon Jetta and has only 24000 miles and still the original battery and alternator. I think you have an electrical problem. Hope this helps. Thanks
  20. Too late for research. Just Enjoy !!!
  21. Hello, Starting with simple question: When you try to start (Key in ignition and turn) what happen? Cranking , not , etc. Thanks,
  22. Hello, I spoke to mechanic this morning, what he explain is rear valve cover has two layers (chambers) and between those layers (Chambers) has holes. so the peice i lost it's not going where lifters are. it will stay in upper chamber. Can somebody confirm this. Thanks,
  23. Thanks, I did talk to a mechanic, he says that with the heat and oil the rubber grommet will dissolve by itself. It's nothing to worry about. I have to say that, this is poor engineering design for PCV
  24. Hello, I did it. Today I decided to change the PCV valve and grommet, and I tried to take that grommet out. It broke into two pieces. Half of it fell into the valve cover gasket. I know I read previously here that this thing has happened to people before. Please advice me on what to do. Thanks.
