  1. Can you turn the heat on and off? If so its not broken. Check if its broken first. It comes out through the fire wall under a plastic cover. On the early LS the cable just hooks over a lever on the heater bypass valve check to see its in its place. Could be a simple fix
  2. I probed all the wires at the trunk hinge with a multi meter and everything seems fine. The only things on this circuit are the rear lights and trunk latch, unless your referring to the harness that runs by the rear strut tower?
  3. ok, thanks ill check those out asap. do you remember if you had warning lights on when you had the issue on your car?
  4. As the title says the check engine, ABS, and parking brake lights are all illuminated when the car is on, as soon as it starts. There are no codes so Im guessing something isnt connected or lost connection, but I dont know where. It doesnt seem like a sensor malfunction since the lights are on right away and not giving off any codes. Ive been through the rats nest under the dash and all connections to the ecm, abs, and trac units look fine. The car also didnt want to shift into 3rd gear, it seemed to do 1&2 fine but didnt go above 2000rpm. Im going to try and narrow down what all three systems have in common. The parking brake would probably be easiest to start with. If anyone has had any similar problems with lights or shifting, your help would be appreciated.
  5. yes thats the right part number for the sway bar. and its the street lp coilovers. front sway bar is thick enough, even just doing the coilovers your handling improves 10 times over. If your LS isnt equipped with air ride then you will already have a decent size rear sway bar, around 5/8" to 11/16" thick if i remember. with air ride they dropped the size to almost 1/2"
  6. I dont have this set up any more but its easiest just to make a bracket and pull the fan pump right off. If you still have your AC just cut a plate and mount idlers like so...
  7. addco rear sway bar takes 65% of body roll away. http://addco.net/ a front strut tower bar from the sc400 or supra and your good to go. or go for megan coilovers.

  10. Im selling a full 2j swap with the v160 , wont do you much good tho being 4000km away. I was going to swap it in to the soarer i owned but decided to sell the car and keep my celsior project instead. Not much is needed after you have the swap. All the mounts are there in the fire wall. Just a matter of hooking everything up. I think the v160 is a bit longer than the stock auto tho so u may need to play with location.
