Just get it hardwired but I would mount it up by the mirror. Higher up means it can get the signal from radar easier. Best-buy does the hardwiring for fairly cheap, heck you could probably just toss one of the guys in the back $20 and he would have it done in 15min.

It takes a while to get the hang of the lighting with photography but a lot of the pictures you took turned out really well. Have you thought of debaging the backend and just leaving the Lexus symbol?... I think it would clean up the overall look of the car.

They could really only do so much with an intake. No matter how you look at it, its merely a large diameter tube with a filter on the end. The reason that most after market intakes makes more power than the stock intakes is because they allow more flow by way of a higher flowing air filter and a smoother intake tract. I vote you go with what ever one is cheaper, just make sure you get a quality air filter. There won't be much difference otherwise. -
Sounds like it could have been a bad connection as well to the ballast. You should have had them check that the ground wire was good and not corroded while they were in there as well.
