It sounds like either your ignition switch is bad or your starter is bad i had the same symptoms the other day and it ended up being my starter it cost me about $220 to do.

I'm having a problem with both my doors locking on my 93 SC400 so i have to manually lock both doors from inside. You can hear nothing when you try to lock both doors when using the switch but you can hear them unlock when you move the switch to the unlock position. Now currently my drivers side window needs a window regulator do you think this has to do with the motor or the switch being bad on both doors please help!!!!! Will appreciate all responses

My vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is bad and i need to have it fixed, I been still riding around with this problem so the miles have not been registering on the speedometer so what will i have to do once the VSS is fixed to have my actual miles display accurately

Does anyone know where i can get a set of Oem Lexus chrome wheels caps with the chrome lexus wheel emblem. I have a 93 Gs300 but my wheels are from a 94 or 95 LS400 stock . Thanks

I had the same problem there is a seal in the distributor that needs to be replaced to keep it from leaking and at this point you might as well replace the alternator as well.

I wanna thank everyone for there advise and suggestions and your suggestions were duly noted the verdict is that the reason why my battery light was coming on is because I had a distibutor oil seal that leaked onto to my alternator which caused it to malfuntion or in other words caused it to blowback if thats the correct terminlogy.

I have a 93 Lexus GS300 and i having problems starting my car in the morning, i had my alternator replaced as well as new battery put in but once i get my car started after several attempts i notice that my battery light flashes on and off and then my ABS light stays on. Whats so strange about this problem is that its an intermittent problem i can go days and even a week and every thing seem normal then the battery light starts flashing. I dont lose any power, the lights dont dim the car drives normal. Can someone give me an idea to whats going on.

Can someone please tell me how to remove painted pinstripes.
