  1. Thanks again Tom. I still have some warranty left so I guess I will visit the dealer tomorrow. I appreciate the feedback! Rickebob
  2. Tom, What battery? My hand held remote's battery is new.
  3. I agree with SW03ES. The FX is a much sportier vehicle and the suspension is designed for this mission. I have driven an FX45 and the ride is VERY firm compared to the Rex. My wife drives our 2001 RX and she is very happy with the ride quality. I drive an Infiniti G35 and the chassis is the same on the FX If you want a sport sedan with a huge trunk, get the FX. If you want a comfortable ride with more room and an nicer (IMHO) interior, get the Rex.
  4. Hey Tom. I can't even get the indicator light to come on at all. I have tried holding both outside buttons down for over 20 seconds as well as holding just one button down. Nothing... I have not visited the dealer yet but it looks like I need to. My wife is getting tired of looking at the "thingy on the visor". Thanks for your help with this! Rickebob
  5. Same thing happened to me. When the window sticker was removed, scratches appeared all over the glass. Any luck with your repairs?
  6. Thanks Tom. My mirror lights are working. I still have not been able to gain access to the Homelink programming. I plan to visit my dealer on Saturday. I hate to do it when the problem is probably my own ignorance but I am out of ideas. I was thinking about disconnecting the battery for a few minutes but don't want to lose my radio presets, etc. Think that would help?
  7. bazan, I am still having trouble as well. I can't even get my Homelink to "clear" by holding the two outside buttons down as per the OM. I may have to resort to calling the dealer for some assistance. I also cannot get the indictor light to come on under any circumstance so I think I must have some other problem. My Homelink transmitter on my 04 Infiniti works just fine and I had no problem programming it so I don't think my garage opener is the culprit. I'll let you know what results I get... rickebob
  8. Sounds like "Turbo Boost" to me Michael...
  9. Guys (and gals), I just figured out how to do a search on this forum and I may have found my answers. I'll get the hang of it!
  10. I must have gotten "ripped off". No rear spoiler for me...
  11. After spending the weekend detaling my "new" RX, I finally tried to get the homelink programmed to operate my garage door opener. I purchased my 2001 Rex used and I cannot get the Homelink programmed. I have tried all the various procedures in the owners manual and even tried to "clear" any previous codes by holding down the two outside buttons for 20 seconds as per the OM instructions. I do not even get the indicator light to flash or otherwise come on. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if someone may know what I am missing here. I will appreciate any help for this newbie...
  12. You are right about this area. I live at the base of Pilot Mountain and sometimes take it for granted. Hanging Rock is still one of my favorite places to camp, when I get the chance...
  13. HI everyone. Just purchased a "new" 2001 RX300 for my wife to drive. I am looking forward to spending some time on the forum and look forward to stealing all the good ideas for mods and eye candy! I would like to get a rear spoiler for my new Rex. Any suggestions on the best way to proceed? Thanks for the help!
