53K miles....cant beat that!!! I just recently bought a 92 SC400 with 175K miles on it for 2800 and am now swapping engine for one with 50K miles on it for approximately 4500. Then i am installing kit and paint job on whole car for probably around 3000. So in the end its about 10,000 for a 92 SC400 with 50K miles and a sweet as paint job.

i recently purchased a Do-Luck body kit for a 92 SC400 and have realized that installation is going to be painful...the side skirts have to be cut off to make room for the new ones...the back bumper wraps around the side of the body unlike the stock bumper thefore cutting will be involved there also. If anyone knows of a good body shop in central Illinois(doubtful) or a good set of "instructions" please help me out.

I am interested in the speedometer cluster(if compatible with 92) the passanger side seat motor for movie seat foward and backwards, also a spare tire if it is a 225/55/r16, if you have any of these parts still please reply here or email at ILikeChicken6969@hotmail.com

Replacing because the speedometer does Not work at all. Check all wires it is plugged into the transmission and the back of the cluster.

I recently bought a 92 SC400 that needs a little bit of work. I need a instrument cluster (everything good working condition), a spare tire, a passanger side motor(front to back), perhaps a right rear tailight, replacement blue bulbs for the stock blue low beams, thats about all i can think of right now if anyone has these parts or knows where i can get them please let me know i would greatly appreciate it as none of the junkyards around(central illinois) have any Lexus's in their junkyards!(which is good)

I believe that that is there for the security system :)

You can order new needles as this is comon in the SC series. My gas needle is not working. They cost like $800 from the actual Lexus dealer so i would try to find them somewhere else... you can get aftermarket blue ones if you send them your old ones for 100 bucks. I would like to know if any of you know where i can order a new instrument cluster for a 1992 SC400. There is not any on ebay for any Lexus's at all. Should be same cluster up to year 96 maybe even till then end in 2000. If someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it!

I just bought a 1992 SC400 and i would like to know if any of you had a diagram or something that showed the fuse box and what fuse does what and also a wiring diagram for like the audio and all of the other accessories. The car runs excelents but needs some loose wires pluged in and a paint job :)
