  1. What bulbs did you get for the Fogs to match your HIDS?? Where did you get them---also the high beams as well Hi beams got the PUTCO 239005SW 9005 Ion White Spark Fogs got the PUTCO 230003SW H3 Ion White Spark Got all from Steve, Same place as HIDs. He suggested them all for color match. I love the fogs. the projection is good and the color matched the 4300k HIDs very well. The Hi beams also match perfectly in color but I removed them because they didnt have the reach that my stock bulbs did. In fact you could barely notice them even on with HIDs burning. To me the reach is more important than light color for the HI beams. both these sets and the 4300K HIDs were $245 shipped with the CL discount
  2. DOnt let these guys scare you..lol A HID kit from xenondepot.com is a Plug and play kits and is a very nice install! Tons of GX owners have done it and with our Projecters and self leveling rear suspension it makes for a wonderfull add on thats way worth it! The beam pattern has a very nice cutoff and DOES not blind Anyone, I have had mine for a year woth Zero problems and not a Single flasher from oncoming traffic and the light at night is wonderful! Here are a couple of good post on the subject. HID Install HID KIT I completely second this post. The kit takes an hour or so to install. no wire cutting and the light is amazing for you without bothering others. My GX lights hit cars in front of me in the trunk.
  3. Steve is great. I also purchased the non hid lights that would match the 4300k hid in color for hi beam and fog. They all match in color nicely but the high beams dont have the same distance punch as the factory bulbs. So now I'm running the low beam hids, stock hi beams (slightly different color light) and halogen fogs that match the hid color and have a nice punch to them as well. I'd be curious to see how folks hi beam hid results are.
  4. I frequently ride 85 Phx to San diego. Totally stable
  5. I too am interested in this. Can we extend the extended warranty?
  6. No, I don't have the mark Levison audio system. The system I have did come factory however. My 2006 GX has it. My 2007 GX does not. It's simply refered to as the Rear Audio System. It is controled with an Infer Red remote. Lexus part number 86170-34010. I had to buy one of those too. I'm going to stop in walmart today and read some packages. I'd like to keep the Lexus name, however, if this doesn't work, I'd be wasting money. I'll let you know. UPDATE -- YES, I AQUIRED AN INEXPENSIVE PAIR OF IR WIRELESS HEADPHONES, AND THEY WORK LIKE A CHARM. IF YOU HAVE A REAR AUDIO SYSTEM (NOT A dvd, AS WE KNOW THE dvd HAS WIRELESS CAPABILITIES.) BUT RATHER JUST THE RSAS, THEN YOU DO HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE IR WIRESLESS HEADPHONES. I purcahsed mine on ebay. $36 including shipping. I ordered a pair of Lexus ones for $90 however, the order was cancelled due to the product not being available. I'm thankful for that as the $36 work great. I did not find a set at my local walmart. Can you post the name and part number?
