  1. I purchased an extended warranty for my 2004 GX 470 at 50K to 100K. It was the best purchase I ever made. I found a good price from a Toyota dealer in New Jersey for $1900. I have since had over $7000 in warranty items. I only wish I could find a policy to extend from 100k to 125k. Hope this answers your question.
  2. Greetings I am at 90 K with an extended Lexus warranty to 100K. Any suggestions on purchase of extended warranties beyond 100k.
  3. Thanks for response. Another member gave me a Toyota dealr in Pa. who sold me a Platinum for $350 less than Lindsay Lexus in Alexandria.
  4. I have recently purchased a 2004 GX470 with 49k miles. I have discussed an extended warranty with others and received mixed reviews. A recent subscriber mentioned discount warranty coupons around. My dealer laid out a flat $2300 to take me to 100k thru the "new car 7yr/100k Lexus Platinum plan. Is this available for less out there. Is anyone aware of local dealer incentives or where ones find a coupon. Please hurry-I have 900 miles left before the big devision. My dealer wouldnt even throw in a car wash.
  5. I researched the cost of third-party extended warranty coverage before buying my 330 in 2004. The deal the dealership offerred me was very close in price, and I negotiated a couple of extra years into it at no extra cost, I purchased it. I have never had a question or a problem with using it - the Lexus dealerships have all that info in their computer, and I've never been charged $1 for any of the minor repairs necessary. Whether you would have that level of seamless service with a third-party warranty is something I don't know. I was told by more than one person that the rear main seals are the most likely thing to need replacement under an EW, and the cost of that alone will pay for the coverage. Where does one find Lexus warranty discount coupons? My local dealer has a take it or leave it Lexus financial set of warranty packages. Are you suggesting that the addition of a coverage can be negotiated?
